Observed player counts
Current players and dated player-history points are observations from public Steam-facing services and SteamPulse snapshots. Live counts can refresh within minutes; charts use cached hourly or daily buckets.
What “tracked peak” means
A SteamPulse tracked peak is the highest concurrent value in the history currently available to SteamPulse. Coverage starts at different dates for different games and may contain upstream gaps, so SteamPulse does not call this an all-time peak unless complete history is independently verified.
Month-to-date and daily data
The current UTC month remains provisional until it closes. Today's daily peak is reconciled with the latest live snapshot so the same-as-of daily peak cannot be lower than the displayed live count.
Store metadata, reviews, and prices
Names, app types, release dates, developers, publishers, media, platforms, reviews, prices, discounts, packages, DLC, and soundtracks come from public Steam Store or community metadata and cached SteamPulse records. Prices vary by country and currency. Missing values are shown as unavailable rather than zero.
Estimated metrics
Ownership, sales, revenue, wishlist, follower, and regional-audience figures may be modeled estimates. Estimated outputs are labeled and should be treated as directional ranges, not exact populations or financial statements. Available sample sizes and limitations are shown where the model is used.
Refresh cadence and UTC timestamps
Live player counts, rankings, reviews, prices, Store metadata, news, and release collections each use an appropriate cache window. Public timestamps use UTC. Scheduled news is held until its publication time, and future-dated page metadata is rejected.
