Eldara — Restoration Hardcore permadeath is back — now fair Your character only resets if you're out of food in a fight & die (make sure to keep auto-eat enabled or spam food!!. That's the whole rule. Keep Auto-Eat enabled and stocked and you're safe — a last-ditch auto-eat now feeds from your inventory AND backpack before any death is counted, so a wipe only happens when you genuinely ran out of supplies. A story chapter that auto-pops mid-fight pauses combat — you can't be killed while reading it. Offline deaths run an accurate survival simulation: auto-eat pulls food from your bag, heals for the true amount, and your damage reduction (defence levels, set bonuses, pet) is applied — so you only fall while away if you truly starved.
