Hotfix (April 24th) — Halo Wars: Definitive Edition Steam update #522834

Hello! We hope you had a great weekend playing Halo Wars: Definitive Edition here on Steam. We have another hotfix release today that addresses a few more issues the team has been tracking since release: We’ve updated Multiplayer session browsing to be searchable worldwide. Previously, players weren’t seeing games registered outside of the region set in their Steam client. You’ll now see all sessions globally regardless of your region. The game will now notify you if the Steam Overlay is disabled when you’re trying to use functions that depend on the Overlay (i.e. viewing user profiles and inviting friends). The GameConfig.dat is now more robust against bad data, which should help eliminate a crash on launch for a small number of players.
