The story is told from the perspective of Hazel Renex, an ambitious young Commander with a strong determination to uncover the truth herself. The Wolves are regarded as one of the most dangerous groups of mercenaries in the entire galaxy. They earned this reputation thanks to the relentless efforts of their leader Kroger, coordinating their every move. Their newest contract has them serve as the Circle’s private army.
