- Development Update - 1 December 2020
I apologize for a very slow progression with very minimal updates with this game. Due to this being developed by one person and available free time has been very minimal, I have not been able to put as much time into this as I would like. Also, the features I am working on, are more complex then I originally thought. Tanks Endeavor is still being worked on. It has not been abandoned, and I plan to continue supporting it as time goes on. Thank you. features currently being worked on right now are - Steam Leaderboards - Top priority - Controller support - local multiplayer - Steam achievements Please feel free to comment any questions or ideas you may have.
- Game Release Details - 21 July 2019
Hello Everyone, I would like to inform you all that I am working on the final update of the game and aim to release it to the public within the next week or two. After the latest update is released to steam and there appear to be no issues after testing the game then it might be available this week on the store. Please keep in mind that I am working hard to test the game my self and a hand full of testers to ensure the game works as intended, However, it is still possible other issues might arise after the full release. If issues are found, there is a topic in the discussions for bugs and issues. I assure you that I will address these issues in a timely manner to the best of my ability. - Game Development Update - 6 June 2019
Tanks Endeavor will feature a couple of different game modes. Adventure mode - "The Main Course!" will feature a variety of challenging and unique levels linked together in a series of stages. Mini Tanks Arcade - "The Side Dish!" over time will be a collection of retro style mini-games that can be unlocked and played for endless hours of entertainment. The game is in a playable state and on release will have full-featured adventure mode and a small selection of mini-games to unlock. However, over time I will be working on adding more mini-games as I get new ideas and suggestions as well as possibly adding a challenge mode and more adventure levels. Controller support is currently being worked on and functional but needs some polishing before its ready. With controller support, the option of local pvp and possible co-op will be worked on. How much will the game cost I can ensure the game will stay within the $5-$10 price range. The first release will be $5 and as features are added over time the cost may go up to $10 When will the game be released I have chosen not to do early access due to the number of games that have been left in the dust. I want to deliver a full product to the community to enjoy. The game is in a playable state at this point in time so I aim to release it some point this summer, However, I am a one person team.
