- Single Player AI Update - 16 July 2019
New update with Single Player Bots is live. Play against computer for practice. This is just a test run. Will be doing a new update in a couple of days and modifying the current car unlocking system, along with progressive campaign-type of layout with the AI. Try it as is while you can! The new update also fixed the car not spawning bug, and car reset system for freeroam was also reworked/revamped and now resets your car closer to (location wise) where you pressed reset.
- Update on Progress - 6 July 2019
First of all, I hope everyone had a fun 4th of July! There are a couple of know bugs remaining in the game. They are being tackled (actually, most are already fixed). Will be rolling out an update in a day or two. Second, I'm also currently focusing on integrating AI (bots) so users have something engaging and someone to play against if there are no actual players online. Will roll out an update with bots (perhaps in a week or so) and from there, I will start working on a full fledged campaign with progress and something to achieve. Of course, with campaign will come new cars and new tracks. Along with that, I'll also be rolling out some additional activities to do while in freeroam. Will release info on that in the next News Post. Stay tuned as I have a couple of other stuff to annouce very soon as well. And as always, thank you for your support! And remember to check the Youtube chann…

- New Update - 24 June 2019
A new update has been just released fixing the bug of car not spawning at random times. The udpate also disabled the "invisible boundaries" meaning now you can, once more, move around freely all over the map. There are a couple of other bug fixes coming along in the next update.
- Update on Game - 23 June 2019
For Fourth of July, I want to do something special. There's already a new patriotic skin (US Flag) in the game for Mustang; purchase the game on or before 4th of July to claim the skin! More coming soon. Currently, full freeroam is disabled (players are unable to go on the grassfields) which breaks full immersion and realism. The reason I had done that was because some people complained about seeing grass inside the car when on the fields. Because of teh complaints, I completely disabled being able to go on grass until I fixed the issue of seeing grass in cars. I will be releasing an update very soon opening the grassfields, with the fix for issue of being able to see grass inside car. Thank you for your patience.
- WMR Fixed - 20 June 2019
All issues with WMR are now fixed. The whole interaction system was updated, and optimized. the grabbing of gear and handbrake was customized for all the cars and it can be done with both hands now.
- WMR Update - 17 June 2019
I have been devoting all of my time and working for the past couple of days on fixing wmr. The reason for wmr issues is that wmr controllers don't support steamvr skeletal input, so having to redo the whole interaction system (which is extremely time consuming hence the long time its taking to fix). Don't worry, I had not abandoned wmr. It's just I had been working literally all day to fix wmr for past days and couldn't be active on the Discussions either. Because all my time had been consumed on fixing wmr, I could not work on other updates or adding new content which might experience a few days delay as well. And remember guys, if you have any questions or need help, please message me on Discord or email me or ask for help here. I will always respond in a timely manner!

- New Updates Coming Soon! - 12 June 2019
There will be new updates rolling out this week. Tomorrow, a new walkthrough tutorial will be getting added which will guide you through the controls of the game. A lot of people still don't know there's a watch on your left hand wrist, and if you press on the face of the watch, a menu will pop up and you can go back to garage from there. Tomorrow's update will also add steering sensitivty control and (fingers crossed 🤞) wmr fix. First week or two, updates will only consist of bug fixes and community suggestions on changes of current stage. After we are through this phase, I will start rolling out updates with newer content (new modes, newer cars, environment, and other things that were promised). I will be posting a new video on the current stage of the upcoming stuff in a few days. You guys will love the upcoming updates. And again guys, here is the Discord link if you want to messag…

- Game is released! - 6 June 2019
Game is launched! Who's going to join me in freeroam?
- Release time approaching! - 6 June 2019
Official release is approaching fast. I'm very excited to finally launch the game, and pretty happy on the excitement from the community. Although the game is launching in Early Access, it won't be an incomplete game. Even in its current stage, it will give you plenty of enjoyable experience. But, it doesn't stop there. With your help, we can make "VR Racing" the best VR game, not just the best VR Racing game. There's a ton of content planned, and plenty of intriguing suggestions from the community for the future updates. I will soon be uploading a new video showing off the current progress/stage of the planned content. Update 1.0 (which will be coming very soon after launch) will feature a more lively environment, with Pedestrians and Traffic system to accompany you in the lonely world of Freeroam. You will be able to do alot more with Pedestrians than just see them walk around. More i…
- Update on Release - 15 May 2019
I have been gong back and forth with Steam and Oculus Store. They have been holding back the game's release due to performance issues on lower end GPUs (VR's minimum requirement). But, a new build has been submitted since yesterday. I will update the status on that later when I hear back. So far it seems like I will be launching the game on Steam first, and Oculus Store will come afterwards.ːsteamsadː Meanwhile that was being dealt with, I started working on some new stuff for the game. I had been thinking about what type of things I could add in the game, and while playing GTA, it came to me that i should add Pedestrians in the game. I haven't worked on it yet, but I'm seriously considering populating the environment with people and more stuff to make the game more lively. I'm also thinking of adding a character driver in the game so you are an actual character that can get in and out…
- NonVR Freeroam Clip is also up - 22 March 2019
Second video on Store page is the new clip for freeroam in NonVR, playing with controller this time. Going to work on getting racing wheel integrated soon. Anyone want to help me by donating to help me purchase a racing wheel? You will receive a special skin for all the cars with your name on the car as a reward. Please email me at [email protected] with subject "Racing Wheel" if you are interested.
- Freeroam Video is Finally Up - 22 March 2019
The freeroam video is finally up. This time, instead of me doing a screen capture, I had two Beta Testers test out the freeroam for the first time and had them record a video, so you guys can see their first impression and reaction on the game. Sorry, their audio didn't capture that good. the mic seemed over sensitive. But, they were chatting thru the game so you can see chat is working pretty seamless. The only problem is in connections across different regions (sometimes--not every time). Well, as you can see, pretty much everything is complete. Game should be up veryyyyy veryyy soon. Just going to do a little more additions to the roaming environment, to make it a little more lively. Let me know your thoughts on the roaming below. Will be uploading more videos on freeroam as well. Also, I haven't gotten a chance to respond to emails this week. I'll be responding on the weekend. Sorry…
- Update on Release - 19 March 2019
I have completed some tests with the Beta Testers and chat seems to have some issues still, mostly for users from different regions. Working on getting that under control soon as possible. Sorry everyone, I know it's pretty frustrating since it's been over the planned date. It's just I have too many things to deal with (job, school, the game development, etc) solo so it's a bit time consuming. Don't worry though, trying my best to get it out within a week. Will show some chat tests with the Beta Testers soon. I had been playing around with some other stuff, like NonVR capability for like controller and keyboard/wheel support (too many people asking were asking for it). It was just experimental, so it needs a lot of tuning. Going to finish off the VR part first, then perhaps roll out an update for other controllers' support. Check out the video though to see how the test went Video is on…
- Updated Videos - 17 March 2019

More videos on Freeroam Multiplayer and other features will be up by tomorrow. A couple of highlights of new features: -New updated Navigation System -Handling improved and made much smoother -New UI, including the in-game watch -NonVR capability (video will be up by tomorrow showcasing NonVR) These are just a few highlights. Full list will be up by tomorrow. I will also be dedicating tomorrow to responding to emails. I have received a lot of emails but never got the time to respond to them. The latest video is the very first one. Leave your comments here on your thoughts on the new UI.
