However, as time marched on, Shangrilla embraced his unique strengths and developed a distinctive combat style. His approach was deliberate and methodical, a stark departure from the flashy displays commonly seen in tournaments. Shangrilla would absorb his opponents' attacks, wearing them down until they succumbed to the steady rhythm of his assault. His fighting style drew attention, first in competitions and then on the battlefield, where the efficacy of his methods became undeniable. - Card Art Showcase: Lanni Swiftblade - 23 November 2023
Dear Denizens of Issilith, "Quick and sharp - a singularly unpleasant combination.” Once a sibling tribe to the powerful Vestige witches, the Lanni faced their own trials with the emergence of dangerous new enemies and the descending madness of their Vestige kin. Seeking refuge on the Emerald Isle, they undertook the meticulous task of preserving the island's diverse flora and fauna. Building formidable defences, they valiantly defended their haven against the relentless D'dall creatures. Lanni Swiftblade is a formidable soldier whose swiftness on the battlefield is matched only by her keen combat abilities. Her power, health and cost of 3 make her a robust and adaptable unit to have on the battleground. Her special mod "swift" allows her to remain ready for action even after moving, making her a valuable asset for tactical manoeuvres. These attributes, combined with her versatile prowe…

- Seedlings - 16 November 2023
Seedlings, once revered as the gentle offspring of the Eternal Tree, have evolved into agents of chaos and territorial domination. A stark reflection of the witches' descent into madness, these once benevolent creatures, nurtured like cherished children, now serve a far more sinister purpose. In the era of sanity, Seedlings, with their profound connection to nature, transformed desolate wastelands into vibrant jungles. Witches employed them to revitalize barren terrains, fostering life for generations. However, the Seedlings' essence has been corrupted, and their purpose twisted into a strategic menace. Thriving in the harshest conditions, Seedlings need little to grow strong — no water, no light, just solid ground. Their newfound malevolence lies in their ability to occupy enemy terrain, entwining it with roots and thorns that limit space and strategic options for foes. Once symbols of…

- Card Art Showcase: Klexrav Machinist - 2 November 2023
Dear Denizens of Issilith, "The Klexrav could teach the rest of Issilith many insightful things about machine-work and engineering, even the resourceful Ubbu. Alas, they are not very forthcoming about their mechanical creations.” Klexrav Machinists are a unique breed of spider-like engineers, renowned for their mastery over technology. Their mechanical creations rival even those crafted by the esteemed Ubbu engineers, yet their primary motive is quite distinct. These ingenious inventors predominantly craft their marvels for personal use, keeping the vast majority for themselves. There are those who are an exception to this, the Merc Caste work solely for profit getting paid for their services not their intricate gadgets, keeping them for themselves. One thing they have in common is that all Klexrav Machinists hold their inventions close, guarding their technological secrets with unwaver…

- Beware the witching hour of the Vestige - 26 October 2023
In the mystical realm of Issilith, the land was guarded by its own enigmatic protectors, the legendary Witches of Vestige, whose ageless existence was the stuff of legends. These formidable beings had long remained in a dormant slumber, biding their time as the world flourished. However, an ominous presence has arrived awakening the witches from their long slumbers. This sinister force heralded a cataclysmic change that cast a shadow over the land of Issilith. From the once-vibrant Vast Marsh to the ominous Cursed Woods a malevolent corruption now crept across Solgard, distorting the very essence of Issilith's natural laws and energies. As a result, the pure and benevolent magic that the Witches of Vestige had harnessed for centuries began to take a darker turn. The very nature they were sworn to protect became tainted, and the Vestige, once synonymous with healing and benevolence, shif…
