- A brief history lesson of Dreadlands - 12 April 2022
Glow Glow is a fickle friend, and it’s near impossible to predict where the next rich yield will appear, but as soon as you get wind of a good bloom, move in fast, and be prepared to fight for your claim. The Glow that is harvested is still in its raw form. Raw Glow is toxic and only a fraction of its potential can be drawn from it. To unlock the true power of Glow, the material needs to be refined, and here’s where the Refiner Corps comes in. There are only three organizations in the Dreadlands possessing the technology to refine Glow. These are the Refiner Corps, and it’s they who buy the Raw Glow from the Glow-digging Gangs. The Refiner Corps, in turn, export Refined Glow to near and far. Near, in this case, would be Skyspire, a towering, walled-off metropolis, bordering the Dreadlands to the northwest. Its cityscape of tall and mighty spires and their inhabitants have had, and still…
- A brief history lesson of Dreadlands - 5 April 2022
The Downfall, Untergang or Thirty Seconds’ War… Today we thought we shed some light on what actually happened to the world that was. So let’s dive into the post-apocalypse, or rather, the actual apocalypse. There was no drawn-out affair. On the contrary, it was aptly named the Thirty Seconds’ War at the time. Satellites came crashing down, the world opened up and somehow the w…

Oi! Dreadlanders! We've got another big patch for you, so strap in! Before we get started - we’d love to hear what you think about it in the comments or over in our Discord! The PVE version of the Scavengers mission has been re-designed with a focus on resource gathering (instead of defeating enemies). Why the re-design?: Because we listened to your advice! Thank you for all of your feedback. We have an amazing community and you told us that you wanted to gather resources quicker to bolster your ranks and finish upgrading your hideout. So now you can! By doing these new scavengers missions in between the campaign missions, gangs will now have an easier time getting the resources they need. Things changed. The original Scavengers mission design is more PvP oriented, and the new version aligns more effectively with the Dreadlands PvE environment. Note: The original PvP Scavengers missions…
