  • A New Splash, and a Smaller Install - 13 September 2026

A quick patch with two changes. SUPERVERSE now opens with a new video splash screen. The install has also shrunk by another 10%, on top of the 20% we trimmed in the last update. See you in the SUPERVERSE! 🚀

  • Smaller Install, Smoother Help - 8 September 2026

A small follow-up to the last update, with two improvements worth mentioning. SUPERVERSE now takes up about 20% less space on your drive, and loading times have come down a little along with it. Nothing changes on your end — the game is just leaner. Scrolling through the Help sections with a game controller has also been improved. If you were fighting the analog stick to read through Controls or Objectives, that should feel much better now. See you in the SUPERVERSE! 🚀

  • Take Aim: Mouse Controls & In-Game Help - 4 September 2026

The first update of September brings three big additions to SUPERVERSE: a brand new mouse and keyboard control scheme, a full in-game Help system, and on-screen glyphs that finally show you which button to press. Mouse and keyboard controls You can now play SUPERVERSE the way you'd play any shooter on PC: aim with the mouse, move with the keyboard. Your pointer sets the direction, WASD does the flying. If analog sticks were never your thing, this is the scheme for you — precise, immediate, and familiar from the first second. The hangar supports the mouse too, so you can pick and paint your ship without touching the keyboard. Aiming and flying independently also meant the thrusters needed rethinking: the thruster effect now reflects the ship's orientation angle, so it always looks right no matter which way you're facing. The target pointer matches your HUD color, and the mouse settings h…

  • Every Day, in Every Way, We're Getting Better and Better! - 16 August 2026

A smaller update this time, all about clarity: a better tutorial, cleaner menus, and improved text throughout SUPERVERSE. The tutorial has had another pass. Text has been corrected and expanded, new messages have been added. The starting camera also sits at a tilted angle for a more cinematic opening. The Settings > Controls menus have been updated for both Keyboard and Joypad, and the Steam Link menu. English text has been improved across the game — clearer wording, fewer rough edges. Small changes, but they add up. See you in the SUPERVERSE!

  • The Hangar Update! - 14 August 2026

A new look for the place where every run starts, plus a round of improvements to how SUPERVERSE runs and handles your hardware. At a glance: Redesigned hangar with a new Maneuverability stat Reworked intro with updated story and a smoother start VSync support, for tear-free rendering Controllers now detected the moment you plug them in A Controls Guide you can open in your browser The hangar, redesigned Spaceship selection has been rebuilt from the ground up: a cleaner specs layout, bolder fonts, and numbers you can actually read at a glance. It also introduces a new Maneuverability stat. With the reworked flight controls from the last update, how a ship turns matters more than ever — and now you can see it before you commit. A new intro The opening sequence has been reworked, with updated story text and a smoother transition into the first level. VSync VSync support has been added. If…

  • Controls Guide - 7 August 2026

Fly cleaner. Fight smarter. We've published a full Controls Guide for SUPERVERSE — covering keyboard, gamepad, and Steam Link — plus how the new gamepad flight feel works. What's new: Turn then thrust On gamepad, the left stick now follows a turn then thrust model: Push the stick toward where you want to go The ship turns first Thrusters kick in as your nose lines up (within about 45°) That means cleaner course changes and less sideways burn when you swing hard. Quick tips Keyboard — rotate and thrust are separate keys (WASD / arrows) Left stick — aim + thrust (turn then thrust) Right stick — rotate only; add RT when you want to move D-Pad + RT — classic turn / thrust, closest to keyboard Shield — hold LT, or click L3 / R3 (push in a thumbstick) Read the full guide Bindings, diagrams, and every flight style in one place: SUPERVERSE — Controls Guide You can also open Settings → Controls…

  • Another Hot Update! - 6 August 2026

Summer isn't over yet, and neither are we. Hot on the heels of the Super Summer Update, here's another round of improvements to SUPERVERSE — this time aimed squarely at how the game feels to fly. At a glance: Reworked analog flight controls — turn first, then thrust 3 new color schemes for your ship in the hangar New difficulty options in the menu Mouse support in the hangar, tutorial, and end screens Reworked flight controls Analog thumbstick handling has been one of the most common pieces of feedback we've had, so we went back to it. Flight is now rebuilt around a turn first, then thrust model: your stick sets the direction you're facing, and thrust carries you that way. The result is far more precise steering, especially in tight spaces and under heavy fire. If you've put hours into the old handling, give yourself a little time to adjust — it clicks quickly, and it's a meaningful upg…

  • Super Summer Update! - 30 July 2026

When you least expected it, here it is: the big fat Summer Update! We've spent the last several months cooking up a lot of stuff for you. Here's everything that's new in SUPERVERSE. At a glance: Brand new title screen Reworked menus with mouse support and animated transitions Controller vibration and much wider controller support A clearer, faster tutorial 19 new languages (22 total) ~5% faster rendering, an FPS cap option, and bug fixes New title screen The title screen has a more modern look and feel, with a prominent logo that alternates between the full logo and the "V" mark — a variant we've never used in the game before. Menu updates The menus have been polished and rebuilt, with animated transitions and more room to breathe. Mouse support in both main menus and in-game menus. Right-click takes you one level back. ◄ ► toggles on every option that has multiple values, so it's alway…

  • Major Update – 64-bit Support & Tutorial Improvements - 20 March 2026

Hey everyone! We've got a big one for you today — and honestly, the story behind it is almost as wild as the update itself.64-bit Support is Here! The new version of the game now ships with a 64-bit executable, and here's the fun backstory on why that happened.A little while ago, we got our hands on a pretty extraordinary piece of hardware — a machine packing a whopping 128 GB of RAM. Yes, gigabytes. It's an absolute beast. Naturally, we were excited to see how the game would run on it.Except... it didn't. 😅Turns out, this monster machine had a mysterious system bug where even small memory allocations — we're talking just a few tens of megabytes — would flat-out fail when running a 32-bit executable on Windows. Whether it was a driver issue or something deep in Windows itself, we honestly couldn't pin it down. The machine had more RAM than most people's wildest dreams, and it couldn't gr…

  • Game controls extended in SUPERVERSE Update #18 - 15 June 2021

The 18th update of SUPERVERSE extends the options to maneuver the spaceship using a game controller and introduces one more way to play the game. You can now use the D-Pad on a game controller to rotate the spaceship in a clockwise direction by pressing RIGHT on the D-Pad and to rotate the spaceship in a counterclockwise direction by pressing LEFT on the D-Pad. The Thruster can now be activated and precisely controlled by pressing the Right Trigger (RT). Using D-Pad for rotation and RT for controlling the speed of the spaceship matches the controls you can find in many racing games with top-down view. This also matches the controls you have when playing the game using a keyboard. We shuffled the default buttons layout and the buttons for activating Primary and Secondary Weapon have been moved to Right Bumper (RB) and Left Bumper (LB). The Shield can be activated by pressing the Left Tri…
