Home Sweet Home: Survive was first launched on Steam in Early Access on March 25, 2021. It then transitioned to OBT2 on May 5, 2022, and was further developed into a separate game, Home Sweet Home: Online, on June 22, 2023. The purpose of splitting the game into two versions was to preserve the unique experience and nostalgic feel of OBT2 for players who miss the original gameplay. Currently, the majority of players have moved to Home Sweet Home: Online, which is continuously updated and developed.
