Hot off our launch on Thursday August 6th we are super excited to announce that Drink More Glurp will also be a part of The Yogscast Tiny Teams Festival, celebrating games developed by core teams of 1-3 people! It is going to be an amazing week, we are super honoured to be sharing space with some truly amazing indie teams! There will be special offers and live streams all week. One of the hardest parts of game dev, especially for tiny teams like us, is visibility and getting your game in front of people that might like it. We hope the festival will give people a chance to check out some awesome games that they may not normally have found otherwise! The festival starts at 8pm (BST) on August 9th over at http://twitch.tv/yogscast Cheers

- Attempt a 20 player alien Olympics in Drink More Glurp, out today - 6 August 2020
Drink More Glurp is a game about aliens who simply do not understand the Olympics. They think that it’s all about paid sponsorships, and as a result, their sponsors have weirded-up all the events, making it so these poor aliens have to deal with increasingly bizarre competitions. Now, when I say aliens I mean you, because they’re who you play as in this quirky party game. It’s no small fry sports competition either, ‘cos you can play it locally with up to 20 people. 20! - The First Annual RPS Olympics at EGX Rezzed 2019 - 12 April 2019
EGX Rezzed is a cavern of knowledge and wonder. Distinguished veterans descend monklike into its depths, prepared to discuss topics as diverse as the psychology of game addiction, the design of fictional languages, and the financial viability of small studios. Some people, though, are too refined even for such rarified chat. Some people spent Rezzed goofing around in stupid local multiplayer games, hollering their own names and donking back tins of novelty soft drinks in the Leftfield room. Those people were the RPS Olympians, and they re about to take a hard ninety degree turn into the first person plural, because they were staff writer Matt Cox, guides person Dave Irwin, and new section editor boi Nate Crowley. - Our favourite games at EGX Rezzed 2019 - 11 April 2019
The staff of RPS were rambling around Rezzed last week, like a troop of rowdy baboons. We were inspecting the games of our yearly show and rubbing our chins, going hmmm with the pensiveness of an art critic on the toilet. I m saying we were being judgey monkeys. There were a lot of games to play, from comedy physics platformers with wobbly-armed buffoons, to oh I don t know some game someone else likes. But there was plenty to write about. Here is a list of our absolute favourites. (more…)
