  Hey everyone, in this hotfix we're addressing the issue of team balancing with bots, as well as making some minor adjustments to bot behavior. Optimization / General Fixes Fixed an issue where bots would walk backwards during melee Improved bot navigation on Zonnebeke, Sechault, and Vieil Armand Bots will not be considered as players during team balancing. For server owners: New server config settings: PreserveTeam=True/False - If set to False (default), this setting will disable exceptions to team balancing rules during server join and map transition. If a player was on a team and leaves then rejoins the server, the player will now be auto-balanced to the team with fewer players, rather than forced on the same team as before. • Update: 1.1 Released! - 5 December 2022

  Welcome back soldiers! The addition of bots has been the most highly requested feature from our community. It's taken some time, but the wait is finally over! Bots are now live in Beyond The Wire! This update also includes the long-awaited Passchendaele map and five new layers to go along with it. Gameplay New Bot Behaviours: Bots cannot be controlled or guided by players. Bots cannot create sections, but will attempt to spawn with all available roles. They will not block players from accessing said roles. Bots will not spawn with 'universal roles' (Tank roles, Flamethrower, etc.). Bots will capture active objectives during the respective game mode. Bots will cut barbed wire in their path. Bots will engage enemies using their primary weapon and switch to secondary weapons (if available) once their ammo is empty.
