• Early Release Kakwitene VR - 4 June 2019

  We finally got the early release out for everyone with Oculus Rift to try. Kanien’kéha Voice commands are working for a few colors (Kahontsi, Otsinekwar, Ohonte, Oronia - black, yellow, green, blue). TODO NEXT: Verify Vive Features. We do not have a Vive to develop and test with yet, so it might take a while to make that happen for our Vive friends. ̱ Add more Colors for Voice Commands Add features: scoring, multiplayer, leaderboard Kanien’kéha dialects do not have the standard tech foundation that english and mainstream languages have (speech engines, tts, etc) so we painfully hacked work arounds using English language speech engines. Hacking makes the Kanien’kéha Voice Command system a very slow, tedious, costly and painful development process but we are moving through it as quickly & cheerfully as possible. English language does not have the same pronunciation, grammar rules as Kanie…
