• Puzzle Princess is now available! - 3 October 2025

  Hey all! It's been a while since we've updated anything here, but we've been hard at work on Lust For Lucre for the last year or so, but it's taking ages to get finished. In the interim, we've been working on a few smaller projects that are a lot faster to complete. Our very first of these projects is now available! Puzzle Princess is a simple, adult puzzle game (Like actual puzzles). You finish a puzzle, you see titties. It's great! Check it out! P.S. We're going to be releasing a new demo version of Lust For Lucre in the coming months, which should be a pretty significant overhaul of the dungeon, main map area, and a few other sections.Puzzle Princess on Steam!

• Patch Notes: Demo 0.69.4 - 16 October 2024

  Hey y'all, this one's a bit bigger of an update than the last few, and also includes a full rework of the spells system. You should now be able to purchase spells with Lust, and can equip up to 3 of them. With that in mind, spells no longer will automatically be added on a new save in level 1, 3, and 5. Bug Fixes: Replaced some of the old textures for the girls. Spell damage no longer displays twice for several spells. Dungeon items actually work now. Fixed spells not showing the current cooldown and status in the dungeon before/after battles. Spells that are designed to last multiple turns now do. Regeneration now applies all of the time, not just when the player is below a certain amount. Hopefully fixed an issue where tiles would stick when selecting a spell sometimes. New Features: Added the LFL icon when the game is running instead of the default Godot icon. Added ability to pass 1…

  Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue where bleed, reflect, or thorns damage will freeze the game, or play the incorrect animations. Tweaked bleed, burn, and poison to only apply for 1 turn, since with a 25% chance that most items give, it was proccing constantly. Fixed an issue where sometimes expressions were not showing up in dialogue scenes. Fixed the player not ever being able to leave the dungeon. Fixed a few spelling issues. Fixed the background image for the dungeon repeating too soon. Florence no longer pops up as visitable in the demo. Fixed spells not showing up in the pause menu unless they are active. New Features: Added upgrade points, which allow your core stats to be leveled up to 20. This should apply retroactively, so it shouldn’t break an existing save file.   Bug Fixes: Pause menu is a little less wonky now. New Features: Added a falling trap to the dungeon. Added spike traps to the dungeon. Added some silly damage sound effects to the player. Changes: General balance changes. I might float the idea of reworking the item and experience system overall. Increased the base amount of experience to level up, since leveling up was way too fast. Can now toggle Fullscreen in the pause menu from anywhere. Window no longer looks terrible on 1080 resolution or lower. Screen should dynamically scale to 80% of your monitor’s resolution no matter what size monitor you have. Tweaked monster base damage and health slightly so that early battles are a lot less punishing.

  Bug Fixes: Fixed infinite blackscreen when you lose in the tutorial dungeon. Disabled saving in the dungeon. Spell cooldown correctly resets back to 0 when leaving a dungeon. Monsters no longer break exiting the dungeon when you fight them at the end of a dungeon area. Dungeon theme in the tutorial now loops properly. • Lust For Lucre Pre-Release Demo Available Now - 7 October 2024

  Hey y’all! The demo for Lust For Lucre is now live! And it works great! Kinda. We’re a week out from the October Next Fest, and we finally have the demo ready in a playable state, and we want to get it out to your hands while we work on crushing the last few (hundred) bugs before finishing up work on the remaining damsels and flush out the overarching storyline. Right now, the demo only covers Kurvanog, and we’re still finishing up the dialogue for her main storyline, so there will be a lot of very rough dialogue that will be visible here. We’re mostly using this to get a good basis for where the game is, what’s fun, and what needs to be improved. Expect this demo to have some (a lot of) bugs, and please report them so that we can crush them! Known bugs: General flow of everything is a bit janky. • We're unretiring Lust For Lucre. - 7 June 2024

  Howdy, you lusty adventurers you! A few years ago, back when we here at DP3 Softworks were all young and full of burnout, we made the rather abrupt decision to cancel development on Lust For Lucre. It turns out that in hindsight, this was kind of a dumb idea. After revisiting the project over the last year, we started to see the potential that Lust For Lucre had, and we think it can truly be glorious! Now to the first-person update! I'm going to be continuing development of this game, and we're shooting for a release date somewhere in the realm of late 2024 - early 2025, but the game will be ready when it's ready.
