Names of users from other platforms will once again display correctly in post-race screens. Fixed an issue where most rank names would fail to display in languages other than Japanese or Korean. Added Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese localization for rank names. Fixed an issue that could prevent automatic rejoining of a lobby after a race.

There was an issue introduced with patch 1.6.2, we've rolled it back to 1.6.0 until we fix the issue.

Hello, drivers! We hope you are all well and playing games that bring you much joy. Today we released the long-awaited update 1.6 for Circuit Superstars. It took a long time for a variety of reasons, but we are very happy to finally be able to update the game. To keep this release simple and to mitigate the risk of issues or more delays, we kept the DLC cars out of this update, and we will look to release them within the next couple of months. At this time, our team is working on a work-for-hire project with a business partner and making some improvements to Karting Superstars when we have time. The playtest will start on Friday at 10 AM PST and end on Monday and 10 AM PST. How do I participate? Please answer this short survey. Once you have filled it, the confirmation page will reveal the Steam Beta key for the Playtest. How do I access the beta? Return to TT UI after quitting TT should not break the UI anymore Game won't transition back to TT when attempting to join a server from a reservation Rank icons should hopefully not break anymore Callstacks shown in error messages now have a lot of fluff removed Game no longer will ever run below 800x600 resolution Penalties are no longer accrued before starting a lap after restarting a lap in TT A couple typos and scaling issues were fixed in the explanation screens Thank you! We are excited to invite you to an open playtest for owners of Circuit Superstars on Steam this weekend, starting today,Thursday July 14th at 10 AM PDT / 7 PM CEST and ending on Monday, July 18th and 10 AM PDT / 7 PM CEST. Fixed an issue that could prevent the game from connecting to a custom lobby server. Fixed a penalty on Tilksport. Top Gear Time Attack records no longer reset when the Weekly Time Trials change. The crowd has returned to Interstate. Ghosts can no longer collide at high speeds in online races.
