When we look back 5 years, we can see a small group of developers passionate about technology and the future. We had experience in software and hardware development and we were early adopters of VR devices, but creating videogames for a platform such as Oculus Quest was something totally new. Today, or first step into the amazing world of immersive technologies turns five years. A thrilling journey We strongly believe in the infinite possibilities of the XR world and we found a great idea that could be our first step into the VR realm: a rhythm game where you have to use your whole body, but simple enough to understand the mechanics with the snap of a finger. At OhShape we have keep working on improving the feeling of the game, and here are some Quality of Life improvements requested by our community in the past months: -Better feeling when you pass through the walls: some people had the feeling they could hit their head with the top of the silhouettes even when the calibration was set on point. To reduce this sensation, we have added a fading effect that feels way better when you play. -Auto-recentering tweak: some time ago, we made adjustments to improve the synchronisation between the sounds of objects and music. This system worked as intented, slightly pushing the center of the game as you move around. However, there was a problem for people playing in small spaces: they could end up outside the boundaries of the guardian area without realising it.
