Microsoft has announced July's lineup of Xbox Games with Gold titles. Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S gets gorgeous Another World-esque sci-fi side-scroller Planet Alpha for the entire month of July, and competitive tower defense meets arcade action game Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break from 16th July to 15th August. Two games are available via backwards compatibility: Rare's OG Xbox game Conker: Live & Reloaded (1st to 15th July); and 2012 Xbox 360 collection Midway Arcade Origins (16th to 31st July). Read more

- 'Hot Potato' Update - 9 October 2020
Update 1.07 features two new boulders and some general improvements. By popular demand, the Paint Boulder from Rock of Ages 2 is back and we're introducing the explosive 'Hot Potato' to the series. Other notable improvements include Polish support (special thanks to Kuba "Mr.Kuabster" Dębiec for producing the localization). - Patch 1.06 is out - 21 August 2020
New Hindu War map! We’ve replaced Kali’s previous war level with a new design that has a more interesting layout with branching paths. This update also features other stability fixes and general improvements. The full list of updates are here: Replaced 'Hindu War 1' with new level. Improved AI so it won't always use the same path in the campaign levels. Fixed results screen closing client connections and returning them to main menu. Unit attack component crash fixed. We've updated the game with more stability fixes thanks to the reports we've received from the community (and the update also features a few other changes). And yet another patch that mainly focuses on stability and performance issues. We've tackled a few more problems that were leading to potential crashes while still working on a few extra improvements. Check out the patch details to learn more information about this update. The full list of updates are here: Fixed a crash caused by boiling oil cauldrons. Optimized boiling oil cauldron animations so they don't affect performance as much. Potential fix for PhysX contact generation crash. Avalanche AI boulders break when they hit the castle door so they don't block other boulders that are also trying to reach their target. Delayed win in Spaghettiland Unit Challenge is fixed. Fixed some unresponsive Editor inputs. Fixed arrows not aligning correctly during Napoleon's tutorial. We detected that Patch 1.03 introduced a problem with Unit Challenge levels from the main campaign where some of these challenges could not be completed (the player would not be granted a victory after destroying the unit in the castle). This has been addressed with this quick update.

This patch addresses more issues while introducing a re-designed version of ‘Cyclopean Isles - War’ that replaces the old layout. This first patch addresses issues we've picked up during the release while we gather more information. Additionally, a 'wrong way' indicator has been added to assist people that get lost. The full list of updates are here: Many level obstacles that were not being replicated on the client side are now showing up. Player time out has been increased so players do not disconnect from the host. Wrong way indicator has been added if the player goes in the opposite direction. Patch notes messaging has been added to the main menu. Minor interface tweaks. ACE Team will continue making improvements following this update, so stay tuned.
