• The Man Came Around : making it free - 6 November 2024

  Hi everyone. One year ago, I released The Man Came Around after a long and difficult development as a solo dev. It was my first game, I had no previous technical or artistic skills and let me tell you that mistakes were made. A lot of them. But I'm very proud of the final product. Alas, the sales didnt really pan out and my company, Pipette Inc, recently had to go bankrupt. I appreciate the support of every person that bought the game or supported the project in any form. I do retain the rights on my game as a private person, but it just doesnt make sense to try to continue to sell it. So, I decided to make the game free. Probably in one or two weeks. And to let people enjoy or hate it. I know its an inconvenience for those who paid for it first, but I'm sure you'll understand my point of view.

• Updates for 14th of October - 14 October 2023

  A quick update for this week end. Some bugs were notified to me this week, and fixed pretty quickly. I just pushed an update on windows today, and the mac update will come this week. Again, I'm annoyed that i didn't catch all of them before release, but I'm dedicated to fix any bug reported to me on the forums as soon as I can!

  Hi everyone ! Thank you for purchasing the game! Like I said in the last announcement, I'm trying to find and fix every little bugs that could have escaped my gaze before. I pushed a couple of fix during this week, and I'll continue every time it's needed. I also plan to do some bigger updates. Mainly a french translation in a month or two, but also more dialogues or dangers down the line, to keep it fresh. If you encounter a bug during your run, you can email me at pipetteinc (at) gmail (dot) com Try to describe the situation the best you can. Where you were, the action you were trying to do, when and how the game bugged. The more info I have, the easier it will be for me to find it and fix it.   Hi everyone ! The game finally launched yesterday. After seven years of work, it's a big relief! I hope you'll enjoy it. Of course, no release is free of bugs. As a solo dev, catching them all was impossible, even with the help of playtesters, so some may still be there. I'm fully dedicated to fixing them, of course.
