    Hi everyone! How about some fresh news? Tilesetter 3.0.0 is nearing a Beta release. It's been a while since the last update, so let's take a look at what's coming: New Tilesetter Tilesetter 3 is completely new. Built from the ground up, we have taken the opportunity to reformulate the workflow for creating tilesets, and to make tileset creation even simpler. The new interface immediately makes this clear. Tilesetter 3 feels light and sharp, and extra care is being invested into refining the tool's capabilities. In the migration into C++, we have reimagined Tilesetter. Let's look closer: Modular Generation Components. Found at the left of your project window, these are configuration objects that describe how a set of tile images are generated.   • Isometric Now Stable | What's Next? - 18 December 2021

    Tilesetter 2.1.0 has just gone stable. If you aren't familiar with the features introduced in the beta, this version lets you now generate isometric tilesets and maps, supporting direct exports for Godot and Unity. Regarding future plans for the tool, next year will bring some big new developments. Here's what you can expect: Animated tiles. New generators, such as slopes, top-down cliffs/walls. Direct export for more engines. More versatile map editor. Fixes for the many small issues you have brought to my attention. Improved/Simpler workflow.   • Isometric Generation | 2.1.0 beta - 28 August 2021

    Isometric support now in public beta! Isometric generation is here at last. Iso sets can be created as usual, and may be exported directly to Godot and Unity, as well as in image and JSON formats. How to opt into the beta: Once you have Tilesetter in your Steam library, right click and go into Properties. Under the Betas tab you'll have the option to try the beta.   • Tilesetter 2.0.0 Now Stable - 19 December 2020

    Tilesetter 2.0.0 has just gone stable. If you aren't familiar with the new features introduced in the beta, version 2.0.0 supports layers in the map editor, complex mixed-border generation, customizable export modes and more. Here's a brief overview of some of the major new additions since the last stable version: Layers now supported in the map editor. Mixed border generation now supported: Wang borders for intersections between 3 or more types of terrain, and Blob borders with multiple types of edges for different neighbors. These complex tilesets are fully supported by the included map editor. New 'Proxy' feature: Tiles can mimic another tile's behavior and act as a variant. Possible to set variant weights when drawing in the map editor (probability of being drawn amongst all variants). Added direct export to Defold and to JSON. User-defined export formats now supported: '.tsfo' file…

    Hello! 2.0.0-dev.3 patch has just been released with some improvements: Added tooltips. Added Cutoff option for Wang Sets. Added UI scaling options (1x, 2x, 3x).     Hello! 2.0.0-dev.1 patch has just been released. Changelog: Fixed export for GMS2 2.3.0. Views/tabs no longer have a minimum size and can be resized down until they're hidden. Added outline around sources in the source dropdown in order to improve readability. Auto-tiling brush can now be resized with Ctrl+Mouse Wheel.
