We have added the option to adjust time of day and weather type in Endless Mode, for both Classic and Season's Greetings! Do you enjoy driving around at night time, tour the lake at golden hour, or are you more of a morning person? Are you partial to a slight drizzle, lots of sunshine, or perhaps prefer a good old thunderstorm? Or do you want to keep things festive with full-blown snowy vistas all day long? Just go to the Gameplay Settings menu in Endless Mode, and enjoy a mail delivery session in your favorite time and weather. Let it it snow, let it rain, let it shine! - Pet the Cats! - 8 August 2024
A brand-new, highly asked-for feature has been added to Lake — you can now pet the cats that are lounging around Mildred’s home! Just like in real life, each cat is different and has their own unique response, so it’s up to you to determine how to earn their trust so you can give them all the pets… and maybe even that ever-elusive belly rub. Meredith can pet the cats in Lake Classic as well as Classic Endless Mode. Cats don’t really like the snow, you see. Who can blame them? Maybe Thomas... ;)

- Now Available: Endless Mode! - 25 April 2024
The people have spoken and they have spoken clearly! We weren't indifferent to the many requests for an endless mode, and were delighted to eventually put it on our to-do list as the next task to work on. So, here it finally is: Endless mode! If you can't get enough of driving around your favorite little laketown, get ready to deliver mail ad infinitum! And just to manage your expectations: there will be no stories or new dialogues, or any other mail carrier comedy-drama. Just a never-ending cycle of playable days with randomized delivery lists to fulfil at your own convenience. Endless mode is available for both Lake Classic and Season's Greetings environments. So start up Lake, hop in the mail truck, turn on the radio, and get cranking. Neither snow nor rain... as Frank Coleman would say: the mail doesn't deliver itself!

Fixed phone ringing audio missing in classic. Several smaller technical improvements and changes to help track down the audio issue(s). Politely asked Frank to leave the Weiss residence during the evening, he can no longer be seen in the kitchen. Fixed random strange camera shots during Nancy scenes. Fixed bug where Beth is not spawning at her store Fixed bug where Frank is looking away during scene at the shed. Corrected a branching error in the scene where Frank is hiding behind the counter. Updated demo build. Fixed Demo saves cloud saving and several other small fixes. Hopefully all saves can be played again, if not make sure to let us know!

We're super happy to announce 'Season's Greetings', in which we return to our cozy little laketown Providence Oaks! You might wonder how Lake's story could continue with all the different endings it offered. Well, we were wondering the same, and that's why Season's Greetings is not a sequel, but a prequel! It's December 23, 1985, eight months before Meredith returns to Providence Oaks. You take on the role of her father, Thomas, and will be delivering the mail like he's been doing for years. We don't want to spoil too much, but what we can say is: It's the final days of the year, so expect Holiday Season happenings! This is a small patch that includes a few minor changes. After this update we will nog longer support Windows 8, as Microsoft has also ended support for it on January 10, 2023 Changes: Credits update. Added missing entries and fixed scrolling issue. Crash in main menu fixed. This was an issue that happened on most Windows 8 and 8.1 devices. A few clever users have solved this on their own by removing or renaming the file. We have now implemented a fix for this so you no longer have to tinker with the files to get the game running. Windows 8 no longer supported. The game will still be playable on Windows 8, but we will no longer offer support for Windows 8 specific issues.
