Hi everyone, It's now been over a week since we've launched, and want to say thank you to all our fans and supporters of the game! Bug Fixes We've received a ton of feedback regarding bugs and glitches during the first few days, but are happy to say that we've fixed almost all of the issues that players have reported! We want to apologize to those who encountered these bugs in the first 2-3 days of launch, the Under experience is now a lot smoother and bug-free. Here are some of the prominent fixes we've implemented: - Bigger interaction boxes. - More hints throughout gameplay in order to avoid trial and error frustration. - Extra settings (brightness, FOV, Headbob, Grain, HUD, Chromatic Abberation) - Vent crouching fixed - Collider issues are now fixed. - Chase sequence glitching/clipping. - Pre-Launch Testing Sign-up, Devlog & Platforms Announcement - 5 August 2020
Hey Everyone! We're excited to share all of our developments and kind of paint a picture of where we are at right now. Since our team just finished university, we were only developing part-time until about three weeks ago. Since then, we've been working around the clock to create all of the content we we're planning, and to make Under as thrilling as it could possibly be! We've been making some incredible progress, and Under is looking and feeling better than it ever has! Here are some of the things we've added/been working on: - Finished all of the crew and third class spaces and game-play. - Implemented flashbacks in time in order to tell Alexander's narrative as best as possible. - Re-modelled the goofy looking entities. Hi everyone, Some exciting stuff coming up! As many of you are aware, the Steam Summer Festival will be launching on the 16th of June, and we're excited to share that Under will be participating with a short demo! The festival will commence at 10AM on the 16th, and our demo will be launching at the same time. This demo will only contain about 10-15 minutes of gameplay, with the purpose keeping anticipations high. We'll also be hosting a Q&A on our Discord Server and will be taking place all day starting from the launch of our Summer Demo! We're looking forward to hearing from you guys! Have fun!
- Under - Closed Beta Out Now! - 13 February 2020
Hi Everyone, We're excited to announce that we just started releasing the closed beta to our email list sign ups! We're starting to send Beta Steamkeys through email today, and have sent out 100 so far. We will continue doing so for the next few days, and will send out a total of roughly 500-1000 keys. As to when you can expect your key, those who signed up early, (Jan 20-23) can expect a key by today, and those after this period will receive one within the next few days. Hello everyone, We’ve been making some awesome progress on the development of Under and have some exciting things coming up. First of all we would like to invite you to sign up for the closed beta of Under! We will be launching a temporary Beta segment of the game within a few days and we would like to grant you the opportunity to try our Beta by signing up for our email list: SIGN UP We will be sending out a limited number of keys for this beta, this number will be dependent on the demand (most likely around 300-500 keys). This Beta build features roughly 20+ minutes of gameplay that takes place roughly 40 minutes into the full game. This segment is an accurate representation of the game, unlike the demo that was released in July. Hey everybody! It's been a while since we released our demo, and in the meanwhile, we've been quite busy with the development of Under. First and most foremost, we'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to play our demo. We appreciate all of the feedback and have to admit that our expectations have been exceeded with the response that we've gotten so far! Here are some of the things we've implemented/completed in the meanwhile: Completed Full Story for Final Release. Over the past few weeks, we've been finalizing the full story for Under, and have been actively tweaking elements based on demo feedback and new inspirations. We've come to the conclusion that the game will take roughly 1h30m-2h to complete, and will be mostly focused on the sinking aspect of the scares, as opposed to an overload of jump-scares.
