• Civil Enters Closed Alpha - 1 August 2020

  After about one year of being in public pre-alpha/alpha early access testing, we've decided it's time to do closed testing. There are a couple reasons why, which will reveal themselves in the near future. As of July 31st, Civil is no longer a buyable game on Steam. What does this mean for people who have copies? Nothing. Closing alpha just means Civil will not be buyable for people who don't own copies of the game. Right now, we don't have hardly enough features for the game to be sellable, and we've decided it's best that we avoid selling people an unfinished game. If you've purchased or won a copy of the game, you can still receive updates, install, uninstall, and play! Closing sales will not last forever; Civil is not discontinued, just temporarily closed. We cannot estimate how long this will last, but when Civil goes into beta, we may be ready to do open testing again. If not, the…

We'd like to invite our community to celebrate the long-awaited Alpha update at a party event we will be throwing in the game!   Good afternoon, Civilians! It's been a long time since our last announcement. A lot has been in the works over these past few months, and we're getting ready to release it into the wild. If you follow our YouTube Channel, you know we have been hard at work preparing this next update! So, what can you expect from the Alpha update? New art, gameplay, items, saving systems, and tools for creators! We have been strongly focusing on our small community since the pre-alpha release (0.0.4c), and have created tools for the community to create their very own game servers using the Civil Dedicated Server.   Hey there! Civil: The Game is coming soon to Early Access. We're excited to present this to our fanbase because you have all been waiting too long to have hands on access. The process of building a team, fixing bugs, and creating new features is what we've been working hard on these past few weeks, and we are so excited to show what we've done. When is the release date? Right now we are getting used to Steam's platform and are trying to integrate to their needs, as well as use that time to make last minute changes before we are able to go public.
