- Korean language version now available - 15 September 2020
We are very pleased to tell you that The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes is now available in a Korean language version on Steam. We encourage you to invite your Korean speaking friends on great new adventures in Aventuria. To seek out treasures and loot, battle monsters and creatures and complete quests and puzzles in the multiplayer co-op experience that The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes offers. The Korean language version comes complete with the content of previously released patches. If you are looking for a guide to get started, have a look at the ‘Compendium of Heroes’ that community member Mintar put together – please note that the guide is only in English though. And if you wonder how adventuring in Aventuria looks like in Korean, have a peek at this bunch of new screenshots we just had made.

- Version 1.0.4 is out (Character loading hotfix) - 23 June 2020
Hello all! Version 1.0.4 is now out on Steam. The changelog this time is notably short: Fixed characters failing to load if they had spells at spell rating 26 or higher. Rest assured, this is not everything we've been working on since 1.0.3, but due to the severity of the issue we wanted to get a fix out as soon as possible. More fixes and improvements are in various stages of the implementation and QA process for version 1.0.5.

For the past few days, we at Random Potion have been assessing, reproducing and fixing the most acute issues discovered since launch, and are now ready to launch version 1.0.2. Our priority right now is in fixing bugs, and that work is still ongoing. We do also follow the discussions and reviews here on Steam, and are in active talks with the publisher to determine the best steps forward. Thanks to everyone for the bug reports, constructive criticism and other feedback! Changelog: Fixed players with certain system locales (at least Norwegian Bokmål) being unable to progress beyond the main menu. Fixed "Steam Default" language option not working. In The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes music is an important part of the games atmosphere – and the beautiful soundtrack is created by the world famous game composer Winifred Phillips. Winifred Phillips has created music for some of largest game series, and have been awarded with both an Interactive Achievement Award / D.I.C.E. Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and no less than six Game Audio Network Guild Awards. Will you find fame and fortune, or foolhardy folly when you head off in search of action and adventure in the mystical lands of Aventuria? We thought you would enjoy this Book of Heroes comic book short story that we have previously shared on our social media channels. The artwork is by German illustrator Elif Siebenpfeiffer, who is well known for her ventures into the The Dark Eye universe. The story was written by Arto Koistinen. He is the Lead designer at Random Potion who is the game developer doing The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes.
