• Hallowlands - An open world procedurally generated RPG adventure - 15 October 2021

  Hello everyone, This is my new game that I am working on called Hallowlands. Hallowlands is a procedurally generated action RPG where the are many monsters to fight, and cool items that you can find as well.   Change Log Added: Added a button for sorting items in your inventory. Changed: Items can now be swapped when you shift-click them. Changed: Improved the placement of Area Gates in the games world generation. Changed: Fixed a bug that would cause the game to lockup when generating a world. Changed: Fixed some problems with the end screen.

  Changed: Fixed various bugs in the procedural generation that would cause the game to not be completable in some cases. The time that the world generation takes should also be faster and more consistent in many cases. Also the placement of trap doors should be more evenly spaced.

  Change Log Added: I added two new potions to the game. The first potion is called a potion of might. This potion will give you an attack buff for a limited time. The second potion is called a potion of fortitude. This potion will give you a defense buff for a limited time. Changed: Fixed various typos in the game. Changed: Fixed a bug where you would get stuck in the dark work after killing a boss. Changed: The player will now stop if an enemy starts following the player. Changed: Enemies will now show a yellow exclamation mark when they start following the player or range attack the player. Changed: Shop slots will now show up yellow when you try to drag an item that the shop won’t accept.

  Change Log Added: I implemented item stacking/unstacking for items with the same type and different stats. When you stack items with different stats a Cyan S will show up on the item. You can also unstack these items by ctrl clicking them. Changed: Fixed a few bugs with the previous item stacking. Changed: Fixed various typos in the game.

• Fractalis 0.7.18 Update - 12 May 2020

  Change Log Added: I implemented item stacking/unstacking for items with the same type and the exact same stats. Right now the stacking only works with coins, and pre-stacked items. But in the future I would like to add item stacking for items of the same type but with different stats. (I will possibly add this feature in the next update if I can get it working quickly enough) To stack items you just drag an item on top of one another, and to un-stack it you ctrl left click to bring up an un-stack menu. Changed: Fixed bug on mac where inventory items would show up as just boxes. Changed: I changed the prices of items/coins to take in account the amount in a stack.

  Change Log Added: Shift-click to move items between inventory and chests. As well as other actions. Added: Spacebar is now the action button. You can use this button to open chests, Loot all items, open doors, and other stuff. Changed: WASD controls now use 4 way movement with diagonals. Changed: Updated keybindings for new controls. If you set custom key bindings you might have to reset them because some of the controls were changed. Changed: Player will now start with a weapon in difficult, and hard modes.

  Change Log Added: Added a map menu. Added: Added signs to area gates to tell if they are open or not. Changed: M key will now open/close the map menu instead of toggling the mini map. Changed: Slightly changed the blue color of energy text to make it more readable.

  Change Log Changed: Added sign in the first gate room that explained how to open doors. Changed: Fixed the sign text in later gate rooms Changed: Removed NPCs from gate rooms These changes were made because some people were getting stuck in the first gate room. And they would quit playing the game without seeing the rest of the game.

• Fractalis 0.7.11 Demo Update - 11 March 2020

  Recently, I have been getting feedback that the game is to difficult for a lot of people. So I decided to change the balancing of the game a little bit. Now the game has 4 difficulty levels instead of 3. The ‘hard’ level will stay the same. But the old ‘medium’ level has now been changed to ‘difficult’. And the old ‘easy’ level has been changed to ‘medium’. And now there is a new ‘easy’ level that should be easier then the old one. So if you want to try the new easy level you can create a new world, on the title screen, and select easy. Hopefully the game should be playable for most people, but if it still isn't more balancing might be needed in the future.

  Change Log Changed: When you clicked on a door multiple times to enter it, you would move in and out of the door. Now, this should be fixed.
