We built a faster, randomized matchmaking mode to help our players more easily and quickly start new games! This should solve so many problems that we've seen with matches being annoying to find and start. Rapid Raid Details - Click "Rapid Raid" - the big red button you won't miss it - You'll join a random room with random players - Teams will be assigned by the system - You can still change your class, but team changing disabled - Game will start when at least 2 people join and timer expires - Timer is reset when new player joins lobby - When 5 total players join, match starts instantly - You Get the same amount of Latiunm for playing as normal matches. - Host can not kick anyone from the game lobby (kick ability disabled) We hope this helps everyone find games as quickly as possible and get right into the action. It's been awhile since our last update. In this Optimized Game Update update, we've spent some time across the board, optimizing the game performance, fixing some remnant bugs, adding some cool stuff to maps, and a little more. We found out the game was takign a LOT of memory for how simple the game is due to how unity handles game objects. We've moved a lot of assets to the new Addressables system so that we can serve them from our CDN instead. Huge performance boost. However, you may notice in this update that some assets have a slight delay when loading a game. That only happens the first load. So, Covid-19, eh? We’re about to see our entire world change very quickly. Do these insane bioweapon-releasing freaks think they can stop all of us? I had planned to launch a new Rapid Raid mode for this update, but I had to move my family from a big city/ urban location to a safer location with family due to concerns related to the virus. This one covers some outstanding and annoying bugs, and some fun additions I really enjoyed working on! RAGDOLL DEATH – walk over the dead bodies of your fallen enemies. They’ll disappear after 35 seconds or so. They can pile up! This one is fun: you’ll have to push the dead bodies out of the way to place new defenses. Bodies are only local for now, they only affect YOUR placements, not your teammates. Added obstacle components to barricade-type defenses – attackers will attempt to circumnavigate but still attack at a deprioritized level. It seems a little more realistic – some of the AI will go around and some will stay and attack the barricade defense.
