• Blastworld has shut down for now. - 27 August 2020

  Hey, You've probably seen the announcement in-game but if not, Blastworld has shut down. Reason for this is that we ran out of money, including our own savings and had to get day jobs. During the couple of months this game was online it saw around 27K players which is cool considering $0 was spent on marketing. We know there would be lot of potential in it and we might try again with something similar in 2021 when the Quest store opens up more for indie developers. Maybe we somehow can figure out some kind of a marketing budget by then as well. • Zombies Royale Co-op Mode + LIV Support - 21 March 2020

  You can now play the Zombies Royale mod against AI with up to 4 people on the survivor side. It's possible to choose the enemy wave difficulty as well from easy, medium and hard. Another improvement has been the weapons spawns, which are now more visible and randomized instead of static spawns. The helicopter rescue at the end has been iterated further too, it will pick you up for 4 randomized locations! Better be quick! • Jump! New and intuitive way to jump and reach ledges added! - 7 March 2020

  Reach new heights with our innovative jump method. Just throw your arms up quickly and you'll be boosted higher. Don't let anything stop your parkouring as you jump from rooftop to rooftop! The new jump is available on the Thumbstick or Arm swinger movement modes. • Zombies Royale = PvP + Zombies! - 1 March 2020

  We bring new guns, better AI and a super fun new game mode! Basically a group of survivors start but every knocked-out player turns into a blood-thirsty zombie! And if it looks and smells like a zombie... Team up with a friend or play solo for survival in the streets of Newborg. Stacked against you are the robots, zombies and other players. • Revised Skanktown map + Locomotion updates - 28 December 2019

  A bigger and more detailed Skanktown welcomes all visitors to explore and probably fight within its walls. More verticality, more interiors and even more outdoors! We also heard your requests to add head-facing locomotion as an option. The full changelist is below: -Major overhaul for the Skanktown map -New locomotion mode (Thubstick with head direction) -Sprinting in thumb modes don't require you to hold down the thumbstick -Haptic feedback now works on Oculus too, added vibration to damage too -Shotgun improved -Added audio feedback to breaking -A lot of small bugfixes You might see this map in some cool new game modes soon! • Blastworld Racing Tournament! (Dec 7th - Dec 15th) - 7 December 2019

  In Blastworld, agility is the key! Get those arms swinging as the fastest player around our track wins another Nerf blaster! And make sure you're in the 'Immersive - Arms' locomotion setting which you can find on your wrist menu! You can follow your progress on the Leaderboard which is found on the new 'Skanktown Racing' map. The Tournament starts on 4pm UTC on Saturday December 7th and ends at 4pm UTC on Sunday December 15th. Rules: 1) Fastest time on 4pm by Dec 15th wins! 2) Try to be the fastest! • Bomb Defusal Game Mode, New Map + Bots! - 2 December 2019

  Enter Dusty, inspired by the classic Counter-Strike map. But instead of following the usual routes, why not climb over the roofs or scale the walls? The map is ripe for planting those pesky bombs which you can now do with the new game mode! In case there's no one online at the same time, you can hone your foam-flinging skills on our new bots in Skanktown. Keep in mind they're still the first iteration and will get a lot better, but they will give you a run for your money for sure!

• Update: Smooth locomotion, leaderboard and much more! - 24 September 2019

  We heard an outcry from you guys about the lack of smooth / thumbstick locomotion. So we listened! Major features: "Classic" thumbstick locomotion added as a 3rd option beside comfort and arm swinger. You can now climb even with weapons in your hand by using the grip buttons. The old style of having empty hands and gripping with triggers still works though for those who prefer it! Make it matter with our new Leaderboard! Each match with at least 2 vs. 2 players (equal teams) will give you an increase or a decrease in Skill Points depending how you do. Works only in Skanktown at the moment. Coming up soon is Ranks! Small stuff: - Fixed gun / hand positions in Oculus devices. - Fixed pistol animations Go try out the new movement tweaks and tell us what you think!
