  • The crane that wouldn't come back ✈️ - 14 October 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 Working with cargo at Caldora Airport can get a little tricky, especially when you're moving boxes around with the crane. But we found a situation where things could go a bit too far: under the right circumstances, the crane could end up stuck inside the plane, leaving you unable to get it back. The problem came down to physics. The crane had too much freedom of movement, and when it got pulled away from its intended position, the force trying to bring it back could send it flying in all the wrong directions. And since it could collide with the plane, getting back to work wasn't always an option. To fix it, we tightened up the physics, limited the crane's movement and disabled collisions between the crane and the plane. Now, even if things get a little out of hand, the crane can return to its proper place instead of becoming permanent cargo. Check out the prequel…

  • A place for every passenger ✈️ - 8 October 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 An airport isn't just a terminal, a runway and a few security checkpoints. It's a place where all kinds of people and apparently, capybaras pass through every day. When working on the environment of Airport Contraband, we wanted Caldora to feel like a real, working place. That's why we paid attention to everything around the player: the cargo areas, service roads, fences, vehicles, signs, storage spaces and all the little details that make an airport feel used rather than simply built. We also wanted the environment to tell you something about what happens here without having to explain it. A cargo crate left near the terminal. A transport vehicle waiting on the tarmac. A fenced-off area hiding something that probably shouldn't be there. And somewhere in the middle of all this... a capybara waiting for its turn to cause trouble. Because at Caldora, you never quite…

  • Would you stop this passenger? 👀 - 2 October 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 At Caldora Airport, most passengers are simply trying to get to their destination. They check in, collect their luggage and hope everything goes smoothly. But every now and then, someone arrives with something they definitely shouldn't be carrying. So today, we've got three passengers for you. They all look perfectly normal. They all have their luggage. And somewhere among them is one passenger carrying something suspicious and illegal. The question is: Can you spot them? Maybe it's the passenger who looks nervous. Maybe it's the one who seems completely relaxed. Or maybe there's absolutely nothing suspicious about them at all... We'll leave the decision in game to you. • AIRPORT CONTRABAND - THE DATE IS SET 28 OCTOBER ✈️ - 30 September 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 After months of developing Caldora Airport, polishing the experience, fixing unexpected surprises and watching plenty of questionable luggage make its way through customs, we’re finally ready to share the big news. Airport Contraband launches on October 28th, 2026. ✈️ Your job will take you through documents, luggage, suspicious cargo and plenty of decisions that may not always have an obvious answer. No two shifts have to look the same, and you never quite know what or who will show up at your checkpoint. We’ve shared plenty of glimpses of Caldora Airport throughout development, but there’s still a lot waiting for you behind the next security check. The date is set. Get your documents ready, Officer. We’ll see you at Caldora!✈️ Check out the prequel to Gas Station - Roadhouse Simulator Want more capybaras? Check our upcoming free Airport Contraband - Demo:

  • What Aiport Contraband capybara are you? - 25 September 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 Capybaras have many talents. Some sneak around, some get into trouble, some simply find the most questionable places to hang out. So we decided to give each month its own capybara. Check your birth month and see which one you got. ✈️ No trading. No refunds. You’re stuck with your capybara. • The great capybara escape 🚨 - 16 September 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 We've recently encountered a small problem with our capybara shipment. Normally, the process is pretty straightforward: the cage arrives at the airport, you remove the tarp, open the cage, release the capybara, and then deal with the empty cage. But during development, one of our capybaras decided to skip a few steps. After a fix to the crane system, we forgot to properly attach the capybara to the floor of its cage. So when the crane picked the cage up... the cage stayed in place and the capybara didn't. And honestly? We couldn't help but think that, from the player's perspective, this bug was almost a feature. No need to open the cage. No need to release the capybara. No need to destroy the cage. One less thing to do. Unfortunately, that's not quite how the job is supposed to work. We've fixed the issue, so our capybaras will now patiently wait inside their cage…

  • THE RELEASE DATE IS SET ✈️ 9.10.2026 ✈️ - 8 September 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 After months of working on Caldora Airport, testing systems, chasing bugs and figuring out just how much contraband we can fit into one suitcase, we finally have a date to share... Airport Contraband launches on October 9th, 2026. From checking documents and scanning luggage to finding suspicious packages and making decisions that might be better left unmade, every shift at the airport can turn into something completely different. We’ve shown you pieces of the game along the way, but there’s still plenty waiting behind those airport doors. So, mark your calendars. We’ll see you at the airport! ✈️ Don’t forget to check upcoming Demo in Roadhouse Simulator! Want more capybaras? Check our upcoming free Airport Contraband - Demo:

  • The Gnome that left home 🧙‍♂️✈️ - 2 September 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 You might have noticed this little guy among the items at Caldora Airport. A garden gnome. But the idea behind him goes a little deeper than your average garden decoration. In old Polish folklore, small household spirits were known by many names - Skrzaty, Ubożęta, Podziomki, Krasnoludki. They were believed to live around the home and farm, helping with chores and looking after the household. They weren't really meant to travel. So what happens when someone takes one abroad? According to our little story, the gnome doesn't simply become a decoration. He becomes lost. Without his household, he has nobody to help, nowhere to guard, and no one to leave him a little food at the end of the day. That's why his owner gave him a passport. Not so he could become a citizen. So he could find his way home. Keep an eye on him. He might not be contraband. He might just be a Pol…

  • Horoscopes... good luck or bad omen? - 26 August 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 Every two days José receives the latest horoscope from the newspaper. What might seem like a harmless bit of daily reading can have a real impact on the days ahead. Each horoscope offers two different omens, giving the player a choice between two temporary effects. Some can make the upcoming days easier, while others may introduce new challenges. You never know exactly how useful an omen will be until you put it to the test. Good Omens can provide temporary perks, extra currency, or other useful advantages. Bad Omens, on the other hand, can make José's work more demanding through reduced inspection time, harsher penalties for mistakes, or other temporary disadvantages. Horoscopes add an unpredictable twist to José's daily routine, forcing you to adapt plans and consider the consequences of each choice. 🔮 Remember to save the prologue date! 📅 August 27 ⏰ 4 PM CES…

  • Trust, But Verify. - ID Scanner - 22 August 2026

Greetings Officers! 🫡 Before passengers can make it any further, their documents need to pass your inspection. The ID Scanner is your first line of defense against fraudulent documents. Scan each passenger's ID and carefully check whether it's valid, expired, or completely fake. An expired document means one thing: deny entry. But if you discover a forged ID, the situation becomes much more serious - you'll need to arrest the passenger and hand them over to the authorities. As the airport gets busier, spotting suspicious documents becomes an increasingly important part of your daily routine. Not every passenger is who they claim to be, and one careless scan could let the wrong person through. Scan carefully. Trust nothing. Keep the airport secure. Remember! The Airport Contraband: Prologue arrives August 27! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------…

Another unusual find for the inspection belt - and another case for our officers to solve. Did you guess it correctly? 👀 Remember!
