- Unity Version Update - 6 October 2025
Unity has posted that a security vulnerability exists in all builds as far back as Unity 2017. As such all Grindwheel Games titles are being updated to Unity 6 to remove this loophole. This should not introduce any issues, but please feel free to contact us for support if you discover any bugs as a result of this change.

After the closure of our Shark Robot store, we have been searching for a new home for Grindwheel Game merchandise. I have been experimenting with Tee Public during the week, and have uploaded a number of items in new designs to the store: https://www.teepublic.com/en-gb/user/grindwheel-games-store I hope over the coming weeks I will be able to get art from every game up onto the page, but I am letting people know about this update now, while the items are still in the launch window sales. At the moment I intend to put up the following for every book: The full title and word art. The game's unique logo. The clean cover art. Each of the General art pages. In the future we can look into running polls to see what other artwork people would like to see from each book go into the store. In the meantime, please check out the currently available selection!

Unfortunate news - due to low sales of the posters on Shark Robot, they will sadly be removed from that storefront. I will be looking into finding a way to bring them back on another platform, if possible. But, as this will take time and it not a 100% certain thing, your best bet to get these high-quality prints is to jump in the store as soon as possible. - The Hunter's Journals Credits Cleanup - 18 July 2020
Today's fix is the removal of several links from the credits page. During the review process for Red Ripper, the build was rejected for containing the links to the voice actor's website and Servicescape, as well as calling for people to visit Bandcamp. After seeking further clarification from Steam it seems that links or directions to other websites can, depending on the content of that site, be prohibited based on the guidelines. Obviously Pale Harbour, Vile Philosophy and Blissful Ignorance passed the review process with these links, but for safety's sake I have decided to remove them in case the websites in question – over which I have no control – ever add content which could cause them to fall foul of these rules. The good news is that as a result of implementing this change to the credits page, Red Ripper has passed the review stage, and will be available for the planned Halloween…
- Blissful Ignorance Bug Fix - 21 June 2020
Good morning! Thanks to a report by a player, some bugs with the game have been corrected. These are: * The achievement 'Why Would You Do This?' was unreachable. This was caused by the game not running the code for unlocking page-specific achievements if the player died, instead only running the death achievement. * Two of the hard unlocks were not pointing to the correct pages in the encyclopedia. Instead of pointing to the first page of that entry, they loaded the second, and the second page pointed to itself. This was due to an error in the ordering of the pages in the handler. Both of these issues have now been taken care of and a new build uploaded. I cannot thank the player enough and will be emailing them shortly to make sure they know that their contribution and support is of great value to us here at Grindwheel Games.
