• DEFCIT Demo Performance Improvement - 7 September 2026

  We've updated the DEFICIT demo with a quick patch to improve some issues with CPU performance in the Threshold Lab level. This should reduce overall CPU load within the level, improving framerates as well as reducing the initial stuttering/hitching that some players have experienced! There can still be a small hitch when first loading the level as the game builds navigation data, but this should be greatly reduced and allow the rest of the level to play much more smoothly. Thanks to everyone who has played so far and provided us with crucial feedback. Keep it coming! There will be more updates and performance improvements to come. Keep your eyes peeled, freelancers.
