- The sound of Wreckfest 2 - Dev Blog #03 - 28 August 2026
Intro Welcome to another edition of Wreckfest 2 Dev Blog. This time around we look at some of the audio upgrades and improvements in the game and related to car sounds. This sets much of the tone and direction also for audio designs. What this means is, every bit of audio in the game to come across authentic and support the immersion of 'being there'. Whether you are racing to win or enjoying a day out at the races to spectate the competition, the sounds you hear should support both experiences and adjust dynamically to meet the needs of momentary gameplay situations. Our next Wreckfest 2 update will add new vehicles to the game. Think you can guess this one?
- The Upcoming Patch Needs a Little More Tuning - 20 February 2026
Hey folks,Due to the fact that we want to only give you guys the most tuned and perfected patches possible, we will have to hold you in suspension for a little longer when it comes to this month's patch. But the good news is that this is not a long delay. It will be with in less than 2 weeks on the 5th of March. We would hate for this patch to skid past quality corner like a poorly tuned Campervan. We have updated the roadmap to reflect these changes, and if you look closely, you will also find one of the upcoming features there: Adjustable car differential & suspension.More info will follow next week, with a four-wheeled tease for you all to satiate your appetites with. Anyway, with time comes quality and sometimes even quantity.
