- The Next Chapter of Lore - 11 December 2025
Guardian of Lore didn’t begin with a design document or a business plan. It began with a question I couldn’t ignore anymore:“Am I proud of what I'm doing with my career? Will I be able to see my son face-to-face one day and tell him I didn't give up on my dreams?”Years before creating Guardian of Lore, I felt a growing fascination with Latin American art and mythology. The Inca Trail planted the seed.A visit to La Capilla del Hombre — the museum and home of Oswaldo Guayasamín — changed something inside me.I wanted to build something that celebrated culture, knowledge, and the stories that define us.When my son was born, everything shifted.I realized I needed to pursue my passion: games.I came across Unity, started watching tutorials, and began learning — terrified, excited, and determined.Around that time, my son was obsessed with Sofia the First, where the main character becomes a guard…
- DIFFICULTY SETTINGS ARE A THING NOW!!!! - 20 August 2021
Greetings everyone!! It's been a while since we uploaded the last patch. Thing's been crazy around here, with us working on the upcoming DLC and fixing as many bugs as people has reported and we've found ourselves. Nonetheless, there's been a request going around from many people asking to lower the difficulty of certain bosses, so they could navigate the story and the Latin American Myths, without having to stress out about the bosses. So... Difficulty Settings are in the Pause menú now Inside the menú there are two new options now. One to change the difficulty of the game, and one that enables/disables the spell cheat sheet. The game was intended originally to challenge both your motor skills as well as your mental skills. In our opinion the more choices we give you, the more fun you can get out of the experience. Remember we're still running our 100 dollars give away contest. You can…

Level´s updates Some items were moved around so players will see them easier. Some enemies were switched to provide funnier combats. And now... Exciting news!! Upcoming updates Everything is getting ready for you to change the game difficulty settings. A system is being installed so each player can pick whether they want the spell cheat sheet to be activated with each casting or not. DLC Everything is being put in place!! - Patch Notes Junes - 12 June 2021
Hello people!! Once again, thanks to those who bought the game and played it. That support means the world to us! We've heard your suggestions and requests and this is what we did about it... These are the patch notes for June's Update. First and foremost. Many people have said that they dislike that once you began hitting or casting, there was no way to cancel that. Although it was intended that players are forced to think before smashing buttons, this seems to be something you didn´t enjoy. So starting now, jumping or dashing will cancel casting stance and break you off the attack animation We understand some of you wanted more clues on how to save each story. So now, if you exit a story without saving it, the Amulet will give you another clue. We hope this clue, with the end screen on each legend, will help people find how to save every story. We've increased the feeling of hitting a…
- Patch notes May 28th 2021 - 28 May 2021
Hi Everyone! This is the first patch we've created after the initial Game release. What does it have? Well... First of all, it was brought to our attention that the game must be windowed to be played with some controllers for people with disabilities. We made this a priority and it is now working properly. Second important fix. There was an issue with starting the game for some people in ASIA. This was due to the alphabet difference used in the name of the month... I know... we didn´t know... it should work now, without a problem. Some minor not worth to talk about. As usual, if you find anything you think it's out of place tell us about it. We're here for you. As always, thanks for playing.
