Puzzle Forge Dungeon will get out of Early Access on Sept 7 2021! Final content will include a campaign, 8 heroes to unlock and play, 50 monsters, 6 bosses and a special roguelike section to play infinitely :) Price will remain the same.

Thanks for helping us dig deeper into the labyrinth of Anvilar. In this new update, we’ve added two major changes to the gameplay: - Welcome your brand new blacksmith inventory: the panel is placed on the right side of the screen so that you can pick and drop any items directly from your inventory to the board. In consequence there is only one game "hand" now with 2 to 6 objects max. - You can now choose the "depth" of difficulty for a game run. You'll need first to start a game that will determine this level of difficulty, monsters, loot etc... This feature is still in development. - Update V0.92 is out! - 21 October 2020
A major update is now available for Puzzle Forge Dungeon. As we had explained in a previous post, we've reoriented the core gameplay to something more similar to Puzzle Forge 2. That is to say, enemies now have a turn count and make an action each time this count reach 0. Some enemies have a low turn count while some are really fast to attack, which make the game much more dynamic. We've also made various adjustments in other sections (rules, content, tuning etc...) In the coming weeks, we'll be deploying an update which contains a couple of gameplay changes. After the early access went live on Steam, we’ve been watching many streams of Puzzle Forge Dungeon and there were two main things that caught our attention. Today's news post explains what will change and why: 1. The game mechanics appear to be a bit too complexe for beginners. Even though a tutorial could help, we think we should improve the whole approach of how to apprehend the game. To do so, we’re going to introduce specific goals that should help players focus on certain actions and thus quickly learn and enjoy the basics. 2. We’ve realized there could be too many repetitive actions. We’re going to rework the pace of the many actions you can do on the board. It’s been a month since Puzzle Forge Dungeon was revealed to the Steam community in early access. Thank you so much for supporting the game and for all the feedback you gave us. Thanks to you, we’ve already been able to release a patch that fixed a few annoying bugs. In the upcoming weeks, we’ll be deploying versions that will improve the pace of the game and add a lot more varied situations on your crafting board. We’re going to explore a bit more the rogue-like aspect of the game and allow you to level up your character’s skills (Health points, critics, dodge, metal tier) and your weapons. Overall, Puzzle Forge Dungeon will be more accessible to beginners and will offer a completely different experience depending on the hero you will choose.
