- Unity Security Update - 12 October 2025
Hi all, Tom here. You might have seen that Unity has... well, had a bad time recently. Long story short, there has been a rare vulnerability discovered which has meant that every game made in Unity (since 2017) should be updated to patch it. Yeah... fun time for anyone with games made with Unity! Anyway, long story short I've pushed out a patch for SOLAS 128 and SOLAS 128 Prologue that includes the new version of the Unity DLLs so it should no longer be susceptible to this exploit. In particular, due to the game being in an older version of Unity we are only patching the Unity DLLs here, not touching the game content at all. All being well you shouldn't see any difference in the game itself. The version number(s) will stay the same, and saves should all load correctly. Fingers cross this will protect you from the vulnerability and you can all still continue exploring the neon depths! -A…

Whether you like wordless exploration of an ancient interconnected neon machine, or exploring a dark basement full of weird corrupted retro machines, there is sure to be something you like here. Not only that, but it seems like the two games might even be connected somehow? If you try either game during the showcase: thank you so much! I really hope you have fun! - Amicable Animal

A dark basement, mysterious puzzles, and a splintered narrative about obsession, power, and regret. It will also have an embedded guidance/hint system and accessibility options too. Oh, and you better believe I hid some fun weirdness in there too... I can't wait to see people playing it! Please bear in mind that this is a one-person…

Hey all, Tom here! Big news today, as not only is there a huge SOLAS 128 Accessibility update, but also a sale to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day! As some of you might be aware, accessibility has been a core part of the design of SOLAS 128 from the start. The coloured glyphs are designed to help those with colour-blindness be able to play the game, for example. But I was aware it wasn't perfect. Since launch we've had fantastic feedback and suggestions from players and accessibility experts, and I've been working on a big update to make the game even more customisable! Once updated, players will find a whole new menu of options full of player-requested options like being able to tweak the bloom or colour distortion amount, or even an entirely new input method for those who struggle to hold down buttons. Keyboard input has also been massively improved, to allow more accurate…

Hi everyone! SOLAS 128 has been out for just over a week now, and we're incredibly pleased to hear everyone enjoying the game! We picked some of our favorites reviews to share with you here. *** "This is something truly very special. A laser-bouncing puzzle game that takes the format not to the next level, but to a whole other cosmic order... I kept hearing the word “masterpiece” go through my brain as I was playing it. Not a word I like to use, but still, it kept whispering itself to me." - Buried Treasure *** "When Johnathan Blow's The Witness came out in 2016, I immediately fell in love... No other game has scratched that particular puzzling itch for me... until SOLAS 128" -8.5/10, God is a Geek *** "...if you like puzzle games about reflecting light beams, you would be hard-pressed to find a bigger, more satisfying example than SOLAS 128." - 4/5, Touch Arcade *** "...the steady beat…
