Wazzap arcade racers! We have also started on our next game project, Alienstein. We are still planning to add more courses and possible cars in the future but releases will be less frequent. Latest updates New course - Triple Cross A course designed by one of our players where the course loops over the main path 3 times causing a lot of crashes and action. New course - Tropical Asphalt A course which is 50% asphalt and 50% dirt road, which is awesome for the new Buggy car. New car - Buggy A new car with fast acceleration and great performance both on-road and off-road. New championship - Crossy Cup A new championship set in mostly urban courses. Feedback Keep the feed…

- Racing out of Early Access - 7 May 2021
Hey Arcade Racers! After 9 months in Early Access we are ready to press the boost button and let Total Arcade Racing race out of Early Access. We cannot thank the folks enough who played the game in Early Access and provided feedback, without you the game would be very different from what we released today. Thank you all! So what happens now? Well hopefully the launch goes smoothly but usually there are few bugs that magically appear post launch. After that it really depends on you the gamers. If you like the game and play it we will keep adding content to the game, if you don't well lets be honest then there isn't much point in adding new content. We really hope that you enjoy the final product and it helps us a lot if you review the game. Ladies and gentlemen start your engines and go get that #1 spot in Hall of Fame!
- Coming out of Early Access - 3 April 2021
Hi-ya arcade racers! We've set the release date of Total Arcade Racing to 7th of May 2021. It will be released on Steam and Nintendo Switch simultaneously. On Steam it won't be that dramatic since the game is already available as Early Access so we'll pretty much just flip the switch and it will be released. On Monday we'll be bringing the price up to the planned release tag which is 9.99$. We do this in order to have the ability to have a release discount of 30% on launch. So if you plan to buy the game then either do it before Monday or wait until the release to get the best deal. Latest updates Since the last news post we've released 10 updates. Here are some of the highlights in the updates. Support for keyboard mapping The most frequent request we've had is the ability to remap the keyboard. Implementing remapping of keyboards isn't as easy as it sounds but we think that we did a p…

- Championship mode is finally here - 10 January 2021
Happy 2021 arcade racers! We hope you all had a nice start to 2021. At Pretty Fly Games we've had a flying start and have been pushing out lots of updates for Total Arcade Racing. One of the core features that we planned a long time ago is Championship mode, where you would race across a few courses with either your friends or with AI, and now it's finally here! Latest updates Since the last news post we've released 11 updates. Here are some of the highlights in the updates. Nitro Boosters The booster areas in the game were a fun feature but it felt quite limiting in a way. So, we replaced them with a nitro booster that charges as you drive. When you are ready just hit that X button, just make sure it's a good spot. Nitro boosters also works in other game modes where it can give you a nice boost and lets you make better shots in Hockey or get out of tricky situations in Survival. Champi…

- Change of studio name, new course, new game mode and much more - 8 December 2020
Hi arcade racers! Sorry... its been slightly over 1 month since our last news update and that's a bit too long in our opinion. However, we've been super busy with the game and have added a lot of content (new course, new game mode and a long list of improvements). But first of all, we've changed studio name, say hello to... Pretty Fly Games Long story short, our old studio name CasualGames.nu, was rather limiting and well plain old. So we wanted something that represents the games we work now, which are pretty fly :) Latest updates Since the last news post we've released 8 updates. Here are some of the highlights in the updates. New Course - Concrete Island To continue the Harbor course we've added a similar course but with a twist. There are fire posts and if you hit them, they'll start spraying water which might push you into the water. Improved menu graphics We've replaced the menu w…
- New course, Achievements, new game mode and bunch of other new stuff - 4 November 2020
Hello arcade racers! The last few weeks have been amazing, and we've been throwing out updates faster than ever. Most additions have been suggestions from the community which makes us super happy. Latest updates Since the last news post we've released 6 updates. Here are some of the highlights in the updates. Harbor course To test your skills as a Pro Arcade Racer we've added a new course where you race along the docks in a harbor. There is a pretty large risk that you'll fall into the water but don't worry, we've added a rescue feature that will pull your car out of the water again. Achievements Achievements is a feature that we said would be delivered during the Early Access and now it's been added to the game. We'd like more feedback in this area to answer questions like: how many achievements would you like, how hard should they be to unlock? Car Hockey A new wacky local multiplayer…

- Improved Hall of fame and more option in v0.4.2 update - 16 September 2020
Howdy arcade racers! First of all if you wish to get these updates via email, then subscribe to our newsletter. Its been a month since we released Total Arcade Racing on Steam Early Access. Our goal with the Early Access release was to get feedback from actual players who like arcade racing games, and boy did you guys deliver! We've gotten a lot of suggestions how to make the game better and a few bug reports, actually a lot fewer than we expected. The top request feature was the ability to be able to run Total Arcade Racing in window mode. In the v0.4.2 release we added support for this and the ability to change the resolution which the game runs at. While working on this we realized that a number of things was not working that good unless you played the game in wide screen mode (16:9) so we worked hard to improve the overall experience regardless of the aspect ratio you use. The 2nd m…
- Total Arcade Racing out on Steam Early Access - 19 August 2020
Great news! Total Arcade Racing is out on Steam Early Access. It’s a big milestone in the development and we’re excited to work closer together with the community in the development of this game. During the Early Access stage of development we will add more courses, cars, achievements and probably new game modes. We are excited to get your feedback and suggestions which will have a big impact on the development of the game. We are certain that you have ideas that we have not even though of. The price will increase over time as we add more content so if you like this game we recommend that you buy it early. What happened to the demo version? As we’ve entered into Early Access we decided to scrapped the demo as it was already outdated and keeping two versions of the game updated takes a lot of effort which slows down the development. Once the game is completed and fully release we might d…
