• Holiday update! - 18 December 2020

  Hey there everyone, It has been a super long time since I have posted an update for the game. Like most people, 2020 has taken a toll on me. I had some personal issues for a good portion of the year, and I didn't feel very creative at all. However, I think things are ironed out and I have been working very much on the game. Just polishing, adding levels, adding equipment and moves for the player to do, and just overall making a better game than I ever would have if I had rushed it. I will have more detailed update soon with more real info, but I wanted people to know I am am still here and working on a very neat (in my opinion) little game. I am excited for people to try it. • May Update - 18 May 2020

  Hey all! Man, this has been a busy month. After launching the Steam page for the game, I got an email about the Steam Summer Festival and I decided to make a demo for it! This caused a change of direction. I was sort of forced to to build a vertical slice style demo of what the game had done. Not a big deal, but this included a lotttt of playtesting and refinement. I crunched to get it done, but I am really glad I did! The demo is in the review queue and should be live soon! Here is a list of some of the changes made, additions, and refinements: Added a boss battle with Drasorin Added a new set of levels leading up to the boss battle Added a Return to Town option on the world menu Refined the Status menu Countless bug fixes and QoL updates New enemy types SFX and BGM level options Menu animations There are so many more that could be listed. • April Update - 22 April 2020

  Hey all! This is my first community post for Fantasy Story! What a crazy month! The apocalypse is going on outside, but thankfully I have stayed in and got to work on the game! It is super exciting to have a store presence now! I have gotten traffic from all over the world and that is so awesome! I would sort of like to talk about what I am currently working on! On Deck Currently So, right now my biggest priority is to get a demo ready for the Steam Summer Festival. This involves designing a boss battle, updating UI, designing rooms, and playtesting! Overall, it is something I would really love to get the game into. It would bring new fans in and let me get the game out there! Here is a WIP sprite of the boss I am working on.
