- 450 dishes in Endless Mode = world record? - 15 November 2022
It's not unusual to grind hours upon hours in Let's Cook Together's Endless mode. There's a certain degree of precision required to pull off a successful round. Combined with the inherent uncertainty and riskiness of Endless mode, it makes you hungry for another round. So naturally, you sometimes give in... ...and score 450 dishes like these guys did, what?! And yes, it WAS a world record - until Mike Karman, Let's Cook Together veteran, raised his 1000 streak! Share your best results below!

- Let's Cook Together leaves Early Access! - 26 November 2020
Let’s Cook Together leaves Steam Early Access today! Thanks to all who participated in this 7-month co-op journey – especially to the Beta Chefs out there on our Discord server and everybody who was kind enough to leave us a review-tip. Much appreciated! Now, with the counter polished and the ingredients waiting to be thrown back and fork, let us remind you what’s on the (full) menu. Main dish: 3 unique seasons (stuffed with over 150 episodes) Assemble a burger, make your pancake do a backflip or heat up the tandoor to brown that naan bread nicely. Burger Ring, Pancake Splash and Ticassa Masalassa not only let you cook and serve different dishes, but also come with unique gameplay mechanics to take your cooperation and communication skills way beyond the simple throw-catch-serve recipe for success. That’s how each of the 150+ levels feels so familiar, yet so different and refreshing eac…
- 6 more languages! - Update 0.9.4 - 18 November 2020
Hello Chefs! ...or should we say: olá, hallo, bonjour, ciao, selam, and hola! We thought that before we could serve the main course – Let's Cook Together 1.0 – you should first try this huge side dish: the Language Lasagna! (that's because the languages are literally stacked on each other 🥞) Let's Cook Together is now playable in 8 languages: English Polish Spanish German French Italian Turkish Portuguese With this update, we've added six of them, and we would have never done it without the help of our wonderful community! Thank you once again for allowing so many new players around the world to cook together (especially you, Murat!) 💛💛💛 OK, but where can I find this great community you're talking about? Great question with a simple answer! Just join our 👾 Discord server here: https://discord.gg/qaZNUmK. Say hi (or hola, or whatever you like!), have a friendly chat with us, and fin…
- Endless Mode is here - Update 0.9.3 - 29 September 2020
Hello Chefs! We've been endlessly working on this big update – and there's a good reason for that. Firstly, we've been polishing the game to make the release smooth as butter. Secondly, we're proud to finally introduce Its Infiniteness: Endless Mode! Cooking is eternal, so don't get tired of it! In Endless mode, you can push your cooperation skills to the limit. The orders keep coming one after another, and if you miss any of them or drop any ingredient on the floor – poof, it's over! Keep focused and earn as many coins as you can. Let us know how you did on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/HXg8qjy Careful with that! If the danger of missing an order in the Endless mode wasn't enough, we've also added a new idle animation. Danger: it involves sharp objects 🔪 What's next? Let's Cook Together is almost ready to leave Early Access. Before that happens, we want to translate our tasty…
- Edd & Achievements - Update 0.9.2 - 10 July 2020
Hello Chefs! For this week's update, we have prepared quite a lot of changes. Edd Our final planned playable character Edd the Mushroom (Occupation: Trip advisor) is now available in-game. Enjoy! Achievements Another super-big feature is the achievements system. Paweł, one of our awesome gameplay consultants who is also a certified achievements freak, designed 39 achievements, Bartek designed the icons and I've put it all together into the game and integrated with Steam. We have a separate list of achievements in-game that looks like this: Let us know what you think of our achievements. Are they too easy ːsteamboredː or too hard ːsteammockingː to obtain? Other changes: changed the size of images presented during the level start (new ingredient, new appliance, new dish, etc) so that they are sharp (some of them were upscaled before and appeared blurry). Thanks to Maciej, our awesome comm…
- Battle Mode - Update 0.9.1 - 26 June 2020
Hello Chefs! Today's update is a big one. The Battle mode i.e. player vs player is now live! Be advised!: while this mode will (probably) not break your relationship, it has proven to cause some resentment and silent treatment. Play at your own risk :-) As always, we wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't run some sort of game-related "research". Below is the footage of our battle mode research with one of my favorite music tracks - Season 3 battle mode music: Season 3 changes Basing on feedback from our testers and players we have changed quite a lot of Season 3 gameplay: Bartek, our awsome graphics designer, changed many sprites. Things should now stand out more clearly and the dishes should be a bit more intuitive and easy to remember (still super-hard tho so be on your guard!) Lucy completely redesigned the levels so that the new dish progression is a little slower but more diverse at t…
- Ticassa Masalassa Season 3 - Update 0.9.0 - 11 June 2020
Hello Chefs! The day has come! After many, many days (and nights) of development and testing, Season 3 named "Ticassa Masalassa" is finally here! We are so happy to be able to give it to you. Characters (from the left): Jan - Lead Developer. Kuba - Tester, Chad - Primate Caretaker, Gloria - French Teacher, Adam - Tester, Mati - Hardcore QA Tester, Lucy - Gameplay Designer BE ADVISED! Season 3 is... very hard. Be prepared to look up recipes in the cookbook constantly. New gameplay mechanisms also require you to squeeze the last drops of your coop skills even more than before. We love playing it and we hope you will love it too. An important new feature is the ability to reassign keyboard keys. This is the single most requested feature (especially from owners of laptops that do not have the "Right Ctrl" key). It surprisingly took a lot of work to implement it, as we had to redesign how bu…
- Chelsea & Happy dancing - Update 0.8.7 - 28 May 2020
Hello Chefs! Season 3 is very advanced in development and we've started to test it internally (boy is it difficult). In the meantime, to ease the pain of waiting, I've managed to finish up some other tasks from our roadmap to bring you some freshness. Chelsea - our 5th character now enters the competition and she is... hot, hot, hot! In the above picture: On the left: Chelsea - Professional Lipstick Tester, Hot Pepper On the right: Lucy - Gameplay Designer, Hot Female (and my wife!) Also, our characters are now animated in some parts of the menu, which is especially significant in the level summary screen. Here is a video of Gloria and Suzie doing the three-stars-happy-dance. We strongly encourage you to dance with them: Here are all the changes: In the post-level summary the characters will now perform a happy-dance to a new music track if you manage to get three stars. There are also…
- Understanding income - Update 0.8.6 - 11 May 2020
Hello Chefs! This week's update is all about giving the players more information on where their coins come from. Our (awesome) beta-tester Michał T. inspired us to it with his feedback - Thanks Michał! You can see here how Lucy and I discuss the new summary screen at our anti-covid-work-station / happy place: Anyway here are the changes: New and more informative order summary. You can now see how much coins you earn for each dish and how much you earn from tips and combo bonuses. See this video to see what that's about: Completely new post-level summary. This not only gives more info on income sources but is clearer. This new layout also makes place for chef win/lose reactions - which is something Marcin (our graphics designer) has been working hard on for the past two weeks. There will be a very nice surprise in there as well in one of the next updates. Preview of Season 3 - Ticassa Ma…
- Stains, splashes & smudges - Update 0.8.5 - 1 May 2020
Hello Chefs! We've had a very busy week. This time around the update is mostly about... stains. We have given them a LOT of love. Dropping food is one of the key "Oh noooo!" mechanics in the game so we are happy with how horrifying/satisfying the experience is now with new graphics, VFX, and sounds. It turned out to be one of the changes that keep putting a grin on our faces every time Lucy and I play LCT. See our uber-professional stain research made at home: And here is how the new stains work in-game: Detailed changes: NEW: Chef stains. If you drop an ingredient on the floor, the dropped ingredient will first leave a stain on the chef's face or apron. Thanks to Marcin (LCT's awesome graphics designer) for this - it makes the experience so much more complete. NEW: Much better floor stains. Before every ingredient dropped on the floor left the same stain, now they all have custom graph…
- Introducing Intro - Update 0.8.4 - 22 April 2020
Hello Chefs! Let's Cook Together is not only about the game. It's mainly about spending time with your loved ones. We strongly encourage you all to actually cook together as much as possible. To be a shining example here I am playing the analog version of Let's Cook Together with my kids: List of changes This week brings quite a few changes to LCT (game): We now have a super cool (and short) story intro in our game. You can see it here: Lucy introduced a ton of level design changes to the Pancake Splash to make it more balanced in terms of left-right player workload and also a little more dynamic during the first weeks in terms of new dishes introduction. We would really like your input on how you feel this restaurant plays out. Introduced dynamic vSync to remove tearing in the menu. In short - vSync is turned on in the menu and off during normal gameplay. I'm pretty satisfied with that…
- New spawning & serving system - Update 0.8.3 - 18 April 2020
Hello Chefs! After another set of playtesting sessions with my wife (and LCT level designer) Lucy and basic on feedback from our awesome testers, we have done some rather significant changes. To show you how a social-distancing game-dev work looks like on our end, here is an image of Lucy playtesting while adjusting level designs in Unity: List of changes Complete rework of the order spawning system. Most of the code in there dated back to 2017 (which is when the very first prototype of LCT was created). It was extremely buggy which often resulted in some orders not being spawned at all or failing to disappear after being completed. The order spawning should now be much less buggy. You can now keep running while serving an order. As a bonus, if you hold the serve button and run you can change the order to which you will serve the dish. By default if two or more orders require the same d…
