Finding your past In Dordogne you play as Mimi, a 32-year-old woman traveling to Dordogne to visit the house of her recently deceased grandmother. They used to spend summers there together when Mimi was a child, but the last time was twenty years before. They have lost contact since and Mimi has no memories left from this time. As she rediscovers the house and its surroundings, some sights or objects become doors to the past and lost memories come rushing back to her. • Dordogne review: don't brush off this sweet summer adventure - 16 June 2023

  Memory can be a fickle thing. For thirty-something Mimi, everything before her thirteenth birthday is a blank. What happened before that point is never really interrogated during Dordogne 's three-hour run time, but we do know her father is a stubborn old goat who cut ties with Mimi's really quite nice grandmother Nora after a summer she spent there as a shy, sheltered twelve-year-old. It's this summer that seems to be the cork in Mimi's memory bottle, and it's also the window in which Dordogne frames its sweet, coming of age tale. As Mimi in the present comes to terms with her grandmother's recent passing, the objects she finds in Nora's now-empty summer house trigger important flashbacks to that golden summer, and maybe also the answer to Mimi's apparent amnesia. It's coming to PC and consoles on June 13th, making it the perfect palette cleanser to all the preceding not-E3 nonsense that will be taking place in the days beforehand. • Storyteller launches in March 2023, over a decade after its debut - 10 November 2022

  Last night’s Nintendo Indie showcase gave us fresh looks at many exciting indies. Chief among them was Storyteller , a narrative-puzzle game we first saw ten years ago, and has now confirmed a release date of March 23rd.
