  Hello Interstate Drifters, I have good news for you: Runesound worked hard to master & arrange the soundtrack of Interstate Drifter 2000 (and Hyperdrive DLC) for you to enjoy on Bandcamp: ID2000 music album AND! Many fans of Interstate Drifter 2000 wanted me to update the game (I was worn out..) so I am working on the 0.6 version right now! Thanks for the motivation, I love you guys

• 2000 and beyond - 12 August 2024

  Hello Interstate Drifter fans, as you may have noticed, it has been quiet on the Interstate lately.. No updates, no fixes, no new content, no skidmarks... I managed to create the DLC for Interstate Drifter 1999 though, and I am very pleased with the result! The DLC is called 'Hyperdrive' and it is available on Steam and in September 2024 on Cool Math Games (mobile support as well!). For 2000, the open world version of Interstate Drifter, I decided not to further develop it in it's current state, because it grew too large for a solo-dev and the game engine is showing it's age more and more. (Game Maker 1.4). I can put in another FIVE years of my life, but I wanted to try out new (smaller) game concepts as well to keep my sanity and earn some dough. In september we'll start experimenting in a 3D engine, we'll try to make a working 3D prototype of the game, maybe it will lead us to some ki…

  Interstate Drifter 2000 was made in Game Maker 1.49, we need to convert it into Game Maker 2.0 so we can port it to consoles later on (and keep up with the times). We are currently working on it! And we also want to add the lava level + lava rival race to the game.

There is so much new content, that I don't dare to release all that without proper playtesting and user feedback! • Reworks - 11 July 2020

  Dear wishlisters, I released Interstate Drifter 1999 on many webportals, to promote Interstate Drifter 2000 and to learn from. Well, I learned a lot about what makes Interstate Drifter fun (and whatnot). So.. I had to redesign the whole big game based on my newfound knowledge. (see image) BUT, it is getting there, and it will be the best I can make of it! I am also planning on releasing Interstate Drifter 1999 on Steam with some improvements. Best regards, Timo (Ultimo)
