  We have released VBOX Sim 1.0.63, including the following: RaceRoom is now supported. F1 2021 is now supported. OBS video capture option is now live. On some machine/display configurations this will provide a significant performance boost and added flexibility for video capture area, hardware acceleration options and more. iRacing integration bug fixes. • OBS Support added - 15 March 2021

  A new version is available via the 'public_test' branch. The primary new feature is support for OBS Studio as a method for video capture. On some machine/display configurations this will provide a significant performance boost and added flexibility for video capture area, hardware acceleration options and more. To access the branch, right-click on VBOX Sim in your library, go to properties -> betas and select the 'public_test' beta. Steam should update VBOX Sim to v1.0.49 (you can see the version on the help tab in VBOX Sim). Go to the 'help' tab in VBOX Sim and follow the instructions to download OBS Studio and install the OBS plugin - then get OBS setup as required (see the 'getting started' link on the Help tab), and change your video capture option to OBS. • iRacing now fully supported - 19 January 2021

  We have released VBOX Sim v1.0.45, including full iRacing support. Now, iRacing telemetry including accurate position is automatically integrated into VBOX Sim when a log file is completed. Once VBOX Sim has stopped logging (when you finish a race or become stationary for 5 seconds), it will synchronize the vbo file with the iRacing telemetry file. The vbo can then be opened in Circuit Tools, where the track will be correctly identified and the map will show an accurate position. iRacing telemetry files can get quite large, so by default we clear telemetry files that are more than one week old. It is possible to switch this off in the 'help' tab. You may notice that there are 2 vbo files for a given video file for iRacing, both with the same name but on with a 'backup' suffix. • iRacing now fully supported in beta branch - 21 December 2020

  We have released VBOX Sim v1.0.42, including full iRacing support to the 'Public Test' branch. We are still testing this version internally - but so far testing has been positive. Therefore we would like to offer this version to sim racers that are keen to start using VBOX Sim with full iRacing support over the festive period. To access the public test branch, right click on VBOX Sim in your library and go to properties then the 'betas' tab. Select the 'public beta testing' beta. Steam should then update VBOX Sim to this later version. Now, iRacing's 'telemetry' is automatically started and stopped when VBOX Sim starts/stops logging data/recording video. • Release v1.0.29 now available - 11 November 2020

  F1 2020 support has been added. Please ensure that UDP format is set to "2020" in game settings. A new 'Game Select' feature has been added on the 'Help' tab. This is only for use in rare situations where VBOX Sim is receiving game data from 2 games simultaneously - usually when the previously used game didn't close properly - causing empty vbo and video files to be created as VBOX Sim switches between games. Unless you encounter problems like this no need to change this from the default setting. We are still working on iRacing - we hope to release a version with full iRacing support before the end of the year.
