After months and months of development, the first Free DLC Update is now available. Apocalypse: The Framework! Another patch has released, this time the size of a content update! Focusing on making multiplayer much more reliable, LAN Redone, Recoil Redone, and a new close quarters map! Also including AI Intelligence, Optimisation, Resolution Settings Redone, Windowed Mode, and More. Here's some in depth info: Multiplayer Fixed / Reliability Since I launched multiplayer there's been heaps of players checking out new features, and I love the feedback! However there was a large amount of much needed 'quality-of-life' changes. This simply improves the stability, reliability, and makes it easier to connect! Another feature update has released, focusing on one of my long term goals, multiplayer! Also including Respawning, Death Fixes, Spectating, Fixes, and More. Here's some more info: Multiplayer I'm excited to announce Apocalypse now has multiplayer for the first time in 2 years! Play as groups of 2 fighting against AI with any mix of map or modes currently available to singleplayer. Hosting servers requires no knowledge of servers, IP address's, and there's no costs. Joining servers is easily done with the Server Browser too. Everything is handled through Steam by default, however you can still connect to servers directly if not. Another feature update has released, and with fixes out the way this update focuses on just adding content! Here's a list with the new additions, and an explanation for each: Marketplace You can now purchase and sell items! Items are purchased at the Market Value and then Sold at 75% of the Market Value. Most items available can be purchased, however the more rare the item, the more expensive. I'm trying to balance prices as best as i can after this update is public. 2 New Maps There's 2 new maps based around the F.O.B faction (from lore in the first game). The first is the F.O.B Research Centre, which is a large sized lobby area with offices attached. The second map is the F.O.B Laboratory, which is a medium sized lab used for experimentation. The largest update has released, introducing several game-changing features, and ultimately improving the game flow! Here's a list with the new gameplay features, and an explanation for each: New Game Economy This doesn't mean micro-transactions (they won't be added), this means that depending on the map, time of day (day or night) and depending on the type of run (cash or supplies) you'll get rewards for surviving as long as possible. After leaving, you'll be able to look through the supplies you've found. Item Marketplace This will be used for trading supplies or cash for usable items (eg, grenades, armour). Not to be misinterpreted as micro-transactions, this will solely be used for in-game items without any real cash.
