  Hello, everyone! We have an important announcement regarding our Early Access title Chess Variants Club. Before we delve into the details, we'd like to share a bit of our journey with you. From the beginning, Minimol Games embarked on a rapid development journey, bringing to life multiple games we dreamt of seeing in the world. Despite being a small indie studio, we successfully published 27 games in just 2 years. This period was not only challenging but also immensely rewarding, allowing us to explore a wide array of game concepts.   Helloooo everyone! My name is Raphael and I am creative director at Minimol Games. We are a small indie game studio from Brazil working on puzzle games inspired by Chess tactics and strategies. Maybe you know some of our titles like Zen Chess, Unlock The King or Knights Retreat. The image above is from the game we are working on right now (to be released in 2022). It is a premium collection of tabletop games inspired by Chess culture, tactics and strategies. • Update: New Variant - Aleut Chess - 11 May 2021

  Hi, thanks to everyone for playing The Chess Variants Club. We've just released an update (v0.1.12) introducing a new variant: Aleut Chess In the 1933 book "History, Ethnography and Anthropology of the Aleut", W. Jochelson reported a game played by the Aleut people, in Alaska. It had similarities with chess, probably adapted from the Russians, given the similar figure names. Peculiar features include a 7x8 board, and the initial setup of the pieces, with starting positions different for white and black. The variant was implemented based on these reports. • Update - Play a chess variant match remotely with a friend! - 24 March 2021

  Now you can play a chess variant match remotely with a friend, through the Steam Remote Play Together feature. Update v0.1.11 is here. Invite your friend to play with you. He/she doesn't need to have a Steam account - see here; The remote player can use the shared mouse, the shared keyboard, or a gamepad (it currently works for a limited set of controller models). The input devices to be shared are defined by the player who made the invitation and is running the game; The definition of which input device will be used by which player is made at the start of each match.
