- Prologue released - 21 May 2023
Hello everyone, It is I, your favorite Princess, Sonya! I'm pleased to announce that we have just released the extra story of Café Rouge, the prologue bonus story! This is the final and last extra story, with the prologue featuring the MC's cousin "Ayla" who is a custom character by our Kickstarter backer Sarah1281, or my sister Lisa Brennan-Jobs. I made a few twists in this bonus story, based on her book "Small Fry" after reading a few snippets from her memoir online as well as watching her video interviews she did for the mainstream media, on YouTube. What's left to finish now is the art book, and sending out the hardcover physical book exclusives to Kickstarter backers, and then the last Kickstarter backers (physical and digital art book pledgers) will receive their rewards, and the Café Rouge Kickstarter will be wrapped up. Happy Saturday everybody, it is I, the one and only Princess Sonya! I am pleased to announce that Demian and Candice's romance story is released! Unlike Demian's True Love route, Candice's romance with Demian is rather short..... but even so, we put a lot of effort into making this, so I hope you guys enjoy it! - Candice' Romance Route released - 5 June 2022
Good afternoon everybody, it is I, Princess Sonya of CloudNovel! I am happy to announce that since this afternoon, I have decided to release Candice's story a day early... so yes, Candice's romance route has been released and is now available to play on Steam! Not only that, we added a last bonus CG illustration to the good ending to Demian's True Love route, so replay Niara and Demian's love story to unlock it and see for yourself! Hello everybody, We hope you all had a great Christmas. It is my pleasure to announce that the final part of Demian's True Love romance route, is now released. We spent literally half a year to craft this story, and lots of blood + sweat + tears were put into making this game. Hey y'all, today we are releasing Demian's True Love (Part 1) Romance Route! This route is a special story for a Kickstarter backer who wanted her character to be Demian's soul mate in the Café Rouge story, so we crafted this special romance route for all the Demian fans out there who want to date Demian (but couldn't in the main story because well, it'd be weird for Isis, the MC, to date him) as well as create a new character named Niara to be Demian's one, and only, love of his life. The synopsis of the story is: After Isis and Antoine's joyous reunion, Demian comes to work, as usual, only to find the door mysteriously unlocked. As he ventures inside, he finds a young woman inside Café Rouge. Who could she be, and why was she at the café all alone at night? Heya guys/gals! Errol's romance route was released this evening, so happy early Valentine's day! All of the 6 available male love interests have been complete, so all that's left is the bonus side stories and the female romance routes. - Aldo's Romance Route Released - 25 October 2020
Hello everyone! We have a big update. Many, many bugs were fixed, and we have finally updated the UI of the settings and load screens. Yes, we have proper UI now instead of using the CloudNovel defaults. We also added a new CG to the main story, where Valen gives Isis his jacket, there is now a new CG. Lastly and importantly, we have added the first Kickstarter stretch goal to the game, Aldo's romance route. His romance story is now added, and you can romance Aldo the chef. We will release Chris's side story next! We hope you enjoy the new updates, and if anyone has anymore problems, let us know. - Sound effects bug (volume too loud) is fixed - 5 July 2020
Hey guys, this is a short patch build that was uploaded just now, make sure to update your game to get the latest build. The sound effects being too loud has been fixed, and the ui has also been changed slightly so that the buttons don't overlap each other. So don't worry, we will continue improving the UI and the functionality till it is in tip top shape and 100% bug free. :) Thank you to all who played the game and for the high praise, we are glad for the many tears shed and for some who even have called this a great game or "masterpiece" story. We are truly sincerely happy that you are all enjoying the story so much. As for the other routes, we will continue adding all the other characters' routes in the next coming months. - Saving bug causing game to get stuck at the end is fixed - 2 July 2020
Guys, we fixed the bug where loading from a save point would stop you from getting past the part where Isis defeats you know who at the end of the game. We also fixed a few spelling errors where the default name "Isis" shows up where the customer player's first name should be, as well as a death scene that leads to the common bad ending in Ron's route. If we find anymore bugs, we will release a new update tomorrow. For tonight, this is our last update to fix bugs (for this evening). Now that you can properly save the game, we hope you enjoy playing through all the routes. Let us know what you think of the game in the reviews! :)
