Now you can play the native version of the game on your Steam Deck. The new update adds Japanese localization of the game. We've translated everything, including the Compendium. We've improved the gamepad controls and updated the tutorial to match the new controls. We also fixed some bugs and reduced the size of the game, but who cares about megabytes nowadays? Hello again, everyone! We've got some great news for you and a new update for The Unexpected Quest. Let's start with the first one. We're excited to announce that the game is now available on all platforms! The update will be released on Nintendo Switch on September 26th, and from September 27th it'll be available on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5, as well as on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Hello adventurers! We’ve created an update for the new year that we hope you enjoy. Our focus has been on optimizing for devices with small screens, such as the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG. What a way to start the week: the Unexpected Quest update is out now! This free update comes with additions to the ‘Graphics’, ‘Game’, and ‘Sound’ tab such as the highly requested disabling of characters mumbling during cinematics. It also introduces the new ‘Tales’ mode with the initial two tales focussing on battles. You are able to choose from 3 difficulty levels but beware … unlike in ‘Story’ mode, this time around you can lose. Want a list of the changes coming your way with the update? Hello, seekers of secrets and treasures! We have some news about the new addition to the game. It will be dedicated to battles. We plan to make two levels with two different approaches to fighting. The first one is ready, and in it you will have to fight off waves of enemies every night. We're still making the second level. In it will have a lot of enemies and very few of your warriors. Hi Adventurers! Just a quick message to say thanks to all for your great support since we launched The Unexpected Quest. We’ve been really pleased with all of your support, messages, and feedback on the game and it’s great to see so many people are enjoying it. Based on your feedback, we’ve made some changes and fixes to the game. Please find the patch notes below. Fixes 1. HUD elements now change size according to the monitor's DPI. 2. Characters running into the house now can be healed. 3. If the game does not find a suitable localization, the English language will be set. 4. The towers were faster to determine that their guards were destroyed.
