- Patch with Russian translation - 21 December 2023
Sacrebleu! Your attention, fellow revolutionaries! It’s been three years since the good people of Mesmer rose up to challenge their cruel rulers, and history is still deciding if the battle is finally and truly won… For now, you can experience the fire of rebellion once again, in a different language! Translation courtesy of the most honorable, excellent, and tenacious Aleksander Helgesen, whose revolutionary flame never wanes. This patch adds a full Russian translation and localization for Mesmer, our game about overthrowing a despot, in addition to the following changes: Fixes to a "literal" ton of grammatical, punctuational, and spelling errors; Some dialogues and mission descriptions have been rewritten for better clarity; Fixed mission markers in some missions not pointing to the right location; Fixed the “Sweet Child of Mine” -achievement, it should now trigger correctly.

In Mesmer you get to be the history maker, in an old-world, European-esque city that is ruled over by a corrupt monarchy. In Mesmer you take the role of a revolutionary leader, winning the people to your side through any method of your choosing! From kind tasks and charming persuasion to blackmail and bribery, the choice is completely up to you! However, every action moves the clock forward, and if you get to the end of the day without enough influence, you're doomed! This means every choice matters, so choose wisely! Oh! And If you need some extra dirt, you can always sneak into people's home at night while breaking the cities curfew, but you'll have to be stealthy as the night watch is about! In the demo, you get to access the first 2 days of game-play and all the possibilities available. Try it out!
