• Double the speed of movement - 20 December 2023

  Since the speed of graphics cards has increased significantly in the last two years, I was able to double the speed of movement in the virtual world. On older GPU in VR mode this can lead to a slight shake in the image, but this disappears when stopped.

• Realtime video recorder - 10 February 2021

  Researchers of the Fractal Universe got option to record videos of travels around their worlds. Recording takes place with a resolution of 1024x768 or 1920x1080 in almost real time. Encoding in h264 format is done by a video card, the file is saved in mp4 format. Besides, added the ability to monitor the state of the video card - load, temperature and memory consumption.

• Alchemist 3D - 17 September 2020

  Now/14/2020: Now you can take screenshots for the Steam community. For this in 3D mode press F12, in VR mode press "System" button and trigger. Sep/17/2020: Fractal Alchemist now has the ability to work without a VR headset on a regular 2D screen. Both versions are compatible. The only difference is that when saving a 360 panorama, the 3D version does not take a stereoscopic picture, the panorama will be 2D.
