Internal monologue voiced by Morgan Freeman (but like... how he sounds in the Shawshank Redemption... like OLD SKOOL Morgan!) As I float here... exhausted from my never-ending internal questions, external screaming... and general "cannae be bothered" attitude... I let my eyes slowly close, and my mind drift to a peaceful quietness. It's been... so long... since I had one of those godlike power naps... You know... the ones where you wake up after 45 minutes and feel like a new person... or banana? Maybe I'll just switch off and just accept that it is what it is.... Maybe this is my last entry... maybe not...? Who knows... I look out across the vastness of Space, and the infinitesimal impact my life will have on it... and I wonder if anyone will even read these logs. It took a couple of days, and a LOT of thinking, but I think I’ve got it figured out. I was taking the bus to work one day, had my headphones on, my breakfast bagel in one hand and my crossword in the other. It was a great morning. A great Tuesday morning. I think it was a Tuesday? It must have been a Tuesday, Tuesday is breakfast bagel day. They only do breakfast bagels on Tuesdays. Of COURSE it was a Tuesday. Anyway, I’m buying this bagel as it was my birthday; and what better a day to treat yourself to a Tuesday breakfast bagel than a Tuesday breakfast BIRTHDAY bagel right????? You know what’s something? You know what’s a nice, little bonus point up here? The views... Ain’t never seen anything like it before. I did a drawing so I’d never forget what it looked like: Is that not really something? Woah. I mean, wow man... Just look at it. So many thoughts, and feelings, and emotions. Banana emotions. They’re kinda like regular emotions except… sweeter. They’re softer in my brain. It’s like a big, mushy cuddle. You know when you wake up super sleepy, you’ve just done your business and you’re washing your hands… then the warm tap hits you and… damn. Its like a liquidy cuddle for your hands. So you just kinda... stand there... with your hands in the sink for a little bit, getting a warm, little cuddle from the tap. It’s... nice... It's real nice. Man, I miss having hands.
