  • Summer Sweep Up - Pet Changes - 16 September 2026

The pet-related Summer Sweep Up changes have arrived! Plus, some tweaks for our canine companions, a whole heap of Z-buffer fixes and more… Changelog - September 16th Summer Sweep Up - Pet Changes Pets will now follow you into The Gauntlet, Corrupted Gauntlet and Impetuous Impulses, meaning you won't need to bank them before entering and they will be visibly following you inside. For other minigames except Temple Trekking, you'll now be able to enter them without needing to bank your pet, if you have one following you. However, pets will be invisible once inside the minigame, still saving you the trouble of banking them. Our initial intent was to allow pets to fully follow you into various other minigames, but unfortunately we had technical limitations for a number of these, where new NPCs wandering around would mean the minigame would break. We've managed to crack the Gauntlet and Impe…

GPT-6 Astra - 9 September 2026

  • Menu Entry Swapper Overhaul - Live Now! - 3 September 2026

We added the Menu Entry Swapper (MES) feature a couple of years ago to put more control at players fingertips; defining the order in which menu options appear, hiding options (no more accidental pick pocketing!) and letting players optimise their experience. When we first added the feature to the Official Client, it achieved much of what we wanted but had more than its fair share of rough edges. While we tried to paper over the cracks, what became apparent to us was that ‘fixing’ the behaviour in the existing architecture wasn’t feasible, and that for the feature to behave as we wanted, we needed to revisit not just Menu Entry Swapper, but the entire menu system.Well, like we shared in our Summer Campfire, it's time that work was done!Introducing, MES 2.0! A ground-up rewrite of the Menu Entry Swapper system, built on much improved foundations. This is intended as a drop-in replacement…

cross the ages, theorists and theologians have wrestled with an irreconcilable question: Is free will an inherent capacity of the human soul, or a misapprehension of things predetermined and divine? Is it a unique function of the human animal, or an illusory quirk of cognition bound by circumstance and necessity?.. Read more.
