- 35% discount on Spaceslingers! - 9 February 2021
I've knocked 35% off of Spaceslingers for the next week, so if you've got it on your wishlist, or you've been side-eyeing the game for awhile, now's your chance to grab it while it's cheap! You'll get to take on the worst the universe has to offer while delivering foot cream to Hugorin 9, all for the cheapest price yet!
- Spaceslingers has Launched! - 17 November 2020
Spaceslingers is now available! Firstly, let's dive right into the rundown of the game! Spaceslingers is a space-time bending interstellar ride requiring careful use of gravity and time dilation to navigate through interstellar hazards and land on a target planet, delivering your payload with the lowest possible time taken. Featuring bizarre cosmic objects, both real and imagined, like blackholes, whiteholes and wormholes, you control the direction and power of your ships launch and then let gravity do the rest. By skimming close to space-time warping objects, the time you experience slows down, allowing you to top the leader-boards by being the most daring and risking life and limb skimming event horizons, all in the name of delivering packages for your employer, Spamazon! With over 50 deliveries and an in-built delivery editor allowing you to create custom levels, the potential for co…

I'm going live right now to stream the level creation process. If you wanna learn more about the game, either visit the store page or head on over to the Spaceslingers site and read through the devlog. The game comes out on the 17th, so make sure to wishlist it!
- Spaceslingers Demo Ending - 21 October 2020
Hey folks, I'm going to be taking the Spaceslingers demo down in the next few days, so if you want to give it a go, make sure to download and play it soon! I was originally intending to take it down on the day the Steam Autumn Games Festival ended. However, I ran into some massive computer issues and totally lost access to all my accounts and computer for nearly a week. It was quite a frustrating experience. That said, I've gotten everything back now and I'm able to get back on schedule, which means that I'll be removing the demo around two days from now. I'm giving a little bit of leeway so that anyone who is interested in playing it can download it and give it a go (or if you've already downloaded but haven't played, you have some time to play it). It was a lot of fun seeing the battle for high scores that went on while the demo was up! The full game is nearing completion and will be…
- Spaceslingers Live-Stream! - 30 September 2020
Hey everyone, I'm RefresherTowel, the solo dev making Spaceslingers, and this is a livestream for the Steam Game Festival Autumn Edition. If you have no idea what Spaceslingers is, here's the rundown: Spaceslingers is a fun and mind-bending 2D sci-fi gravity based game, where the only obstacles between you and your goal are the most powerful objects in the known universe! Use the gravity wells created by black holes (and other exotic celestial objects) to slingshot your delivery ship to target planets. Easy to play but hard to master, Spaceslingers is filled with both meditative moments of intuition-based planning and jaw-clenching moments of tense action. The game is a passion project I've been working on for awhile now. It started out because I'm pretty obsessed with space and wanted to see if I could program some cool 2D black holes and it then ballooned into what it is now, a satiri…
