• Amira's 7 Years Journey, Amira Is Still Alive Coming In A New Form | Devlog 6 - 7 August 2023

  Today, I want to share with you the incredible journey of "Amira," my Middle Eastern fantasy RPG game. Over the course of four years, this game has evolved through seven unique iterations, each teaching me valuable lessons along the way. Despite facing numerous challenges, including limited resources and being from a humble background, I persisted in creating a captivating story centered around a Middle Eastern girl navigating a challenging world. I will share all 7 iterations that Amira has gone through from 2017 up until today, along side many lessons learned, challenges i have faced, and much more.   Hello I am very proud and happy to announce that, amira finally, does have her first ever trailer, a very short trailer focused mostly on gameplay, more like a teaser. Video editing is one of my weakest skills, so i must say, i am quite proud and happy with how this teaser ended up. Enjoy the show and hope you like it as much as i did.

  Hello everyone its me Mo'tasem again this time, i present to you, with an expansion of what i have started last month, which is the clothing, it is a really difficult and hard topic, but i am doing my best, so i decided to merge Amira's dress into the core gameplay of the game. in the last devlog i discussed the plan, and how is started this time, its all about application, in other words, the abilities, weapons (melee and ranged) and stats, and much more than that too.

  Hello it is me Motasem the sole developer behind amira, in this devlog, i present to you, a really difficult and hard topic, and it is clothing in our culture, and how i connected the gameplay with the most prevalent emotions one would feel upon choosing different dresses, in a culture where what you wear is very focused and a big decision. Exploring this issue, i decided to merge it with the gameplay, for a start it was the stats system, and more is coming.

  Hello it is me Motasem the sole developer behind amira, hope you are doing well, and here i am back and i present to you, a short discussion on my mindset of making amira as a pc/console game. my biggest dilemma was choosing the appropriate target platform, do i choose the most popular target platform, or do i choose a less popular platform, but one that suits the game's needs best? a hard choice, but at the end i decided to make the game in the best possible form, and then use that as a starting point.
