- Cloud Gardens dev announces new game at PC Gaming Showcase! - 8 June 2025
Hi everybody!Thomas. Just wanted to let you know that my next project, GARBAGE COUNTRY, has been officially announced to the world. Big thanks to the PC Gaming Showcase for having me. Check out the trailer here! As you can see it’s got a similar post-industrial aesthetic to Cloud Gardens, but taken in a very different direction. This is an open world exploration game where you drive a truck across a trash-littered wasteland, upgrading your car to go further and defending yourself in tense tower-defense battles. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, please consider dropping me a wishlist! You can also follow me on socials for development updates :) Thanks so much! Best,Thomas

- Cloud Gardens review: zen gardening in the middle of the wasteland - 9 September 2021
The post-apocalypse is often accompanied by violence, grit and gore when it comes to video games. So many titles use the inevitable wasteland to emotionally torture their characters or as a playground to squash some monsters – or both. Cloud Gardens abandons all the blood and tears. Refreshingly, the game doesn’t rely on any drama or conflict. Instead, Cloud Gardens is solely focused on the idea of revitalisation and nature taking back spaces… after we’re gone. Read more

- Chill junkyard gardening sim Cloud Gardens is out now - 2 September 2021
Townscaper left early access last week, a chill town building game I compared to pruning a bonsai tree . I clearly should have saved that description for Cloud Gardens . It's a similarly chill urban design game, but here you're planting, growing and, yes, pruning plants across dioramas of urban decay. It's now hit 1.0 and left early access, too. Read more
